Michael Jackson's Deathbed, Personal Items Up For Auction
Posted on Wed Nov 9, 2011 09:20 AM PDT
The bed that Michael Jackson passed away in is for sale.
The queen-size piece, shown several times to the court in photos throughout Dr. Conrad Murray's involuntary manslaughter trial, and hundreds more items from Jackson's Holmby Hills mansion are scheduled to go up for auction next month.
Items include furniture, paintings and sculptures. Jackson and his three children lived at the North Carolwood Drive home from December 2008 until his June 25, 2009, death. The three-story home is up for sale separately (Jackson was leasing it.)
A note from one of the children remains on a chalkboard from inside the home. Sadly, it reads, "I (heart) Daddy. SMILE, it's for free." The board will be sold as-is, and is expected to fetch more than $400.
The bedroom that was shown in court was considered somewhat of a medication room by Jackson and his team, he kept a more private bedroom adjacent to that one. There, a message is written on the mirror -- from MJ to himself: "TRAIN, perfection, March April. FULL OUT May."
The King of Pop's makeup still sits on a small stool at his vanity.
The same auction house, Julien’s Auctions, sold collectibles from the Neverland Ranch in April of 2009.
The 54,885-square-foot home is for sale, but not up for auction. It has six bedrooms and 10 fireplaces. It also has a wine cellar, fitness center and formal dining room.
The auction is set for Dec. 17.

that's FUCKED UP.
and the Jackson slam NBC for being morally culpable. WTF do you call selling off his death bed. That should be destroyed and not sold at auction to the highest bidder. Talk about morbid and moral-less. Hypocrites....as usual.
