Michael Jackson's Music Lives On With Release Of Hollywood Tonight Video
Posted on Thu Mar 10, 2011 03:40 PM PDT
Michael Jackson passed several years ago, but the King of Pop is giving us even more of a reason to miss him with the release of the new video for his single "Hollywood Tonight." The catchy track is from Jackson's posthumous album Michael.
The dance-infused video, directed by "You Are Not Alone" video director Wayne Isham, is about a young performer who follows her dreams to success. On Jackson's website, the following statement described the video:
- "Her story represents the struggle for every artist or musician struggling to make it in the world."
We love seeing images of Jackson throughout the entire video on billboards and posters!
As for director Wayne Isham, find out which two Britney Spears videos he directed ... after the jump.
Isham directed Brit in her videos for "I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman" in 2002 and "Piece of Me" in 2007.
What do you think of the video for "Hollywood Tonight?"

I love the video and the song!! It's a real dance track and with PROPER promotion it could absolutely smash! I wish there more MJ images/concert clips in it but it's still really good and the song is very catchy.
According to this post, Michael Jackson passed "several years ago." You may want to check that. He died in July of 2009. I'm pretty sure thats not several years ago. Check your facts before you post.
I like the video and think the dancers, particularly the lead, are doing a great job. Sadly, the video is sorely lacking in originality--but then, the man with the creative ideas is no longer here to share his vision with us. It shows.
LOCK UP LINDSAY
How can they realise a video of a song where is NOT Michael Jackson singing, but Jason Malachi!!! SHAME! That's hideous! SONY PHONY SUCKS!
I think his coffin will be rockin'?
I love "Hollywood Tonight" but the video does not do justice to the song. If Michael were here, it would be so much better. The creative genius is missing from it.
