MJ To Receive Posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award At Grammys
Posted on Sun Dec 13, 2009 01:30 PM PDT

Congrats, Michael!
The Recording Academy has announced that King of Pop Michael Jackson will receive a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award at the 52nd annual Grammy Awards this coming January...
The seven other honorees include Leonard Cohen, Bobby Darin and Loretta Lynn, to name a few.
It's a shame MJ didn't see any of this recognition in his final years. Still, it's nice to see him honored now.
RIP.

So you are saying they YOU will see the other child rapist in hell...wow you're an idiot in your own botched attempt at an insult...Anyways, Michael I love you, with all my heart. It was my dream to meet you someday, but you shall have to live on in my heart. Congrats mike. Long Live the King.
The grammy's are lagging years behind; in honouring living artists. That is so stupid!! Giving a grammy to a dead body.
At least the Academy Awards honours actors while they are alive and can appreciate it. Dumb Grammy's...
Yeah, I agree, they did the same thing to Elvis..Grab a brain;Grammy.
Not only The most prolific artist of our times, but also a great humanitarian, for a long time holding the record of the artist donating most to and spending most time promoting charity. Not taking anything from them, but this was long before Bono, Angelina Jolie, Ophrah, Madonna and other celebrities entered the metier. Here is a tiny bit of charity MJ donated to ( and hope it will inspire others to do the same)., 2009 a special posthumous tribute, the first-ever Legend award, to MJ, the single largest donor in the T.J. Martell Foundation’s 34-year history./ MJ donated his rhinestone studded violet glove for the 2006 tsunami victims that nets around $600,355 million USD/ * As a compensation paid to Michael for the hair fire accident by Pepsi, MJ donated the entire amount to open Hospitals "MJ Burn center" for Victims of fire to be treated / His song, "We Are the World" co-written with Lionel Richie, raised more than $63 million for famine relief in Africa. A few of the charities MJ donated to: (excluding contributions made by Heal the World Foundation) :AIDS Project L.A/ Elizabeth Taylor Aids Foundation/ American Cancer Society/Make-A-Wish Foundation etcetc. Most of all he was a loving, caring humble man, appreciated by music lovers and loved by billions of fans in every corner of the planet. For that reason alone he deserves the award and CBC should be honoured to present it to him. Michael Joseph Jackson L.o.v.e you forever.
