Will Jacko Thrill Grammy Audiences?

The Grammys always bring out pop royalty - but can they tempt the King of Pop into a rare public appearance?
Tom O'Neil's Gold Derby blog spoke to Diane Dimond, the author of a book about Jackson's molestation charges, who claims to have seen an internal Sony-BMG memo describing how the label's "pulling out all the stops to help its one-time mega-star re-enter the pop music scene" - and that it specifically mentions getting involved in the Grammys!
The memo doesn't say whether Jackson's appearance would be to perform or just to present awards.
However, a hotly-anticipated special edition of Thriller commemorating its 25th anniversary hits stores on February 12th - a scant two days after the Grammys broadcast!
What better way to remind people of that fact than to show up at the music industry's biggest night?
(And, of course, if we're talking Grammy news, we'd be remiss if we didn't mention that Rihanna's been confirmed to perform - and she'll be supported by Prince's unbelievably awesome former backing band the Time!)
With the news of the waiver they were granted by the striking writers, it's looking like the Grammys will be this season's biggest awards show - especially if these rumors turn out to be true!

Umm... what's your source for the "hotly anticipated" part? The only reason that term would be used in the context of MJ and the modern music industry is:
"MJ hotly anticipated a sleepover visit to his ranch by the Jonas Brothers."
I never watch these awards shows, and this is just one more reminder why I don't.
I don't get it - he should be blacklisted forever! Sometimes justice is not served - we all know he is a child molester - I just don't understand why people don't seem to care and are willing to work with him.

Don`t sink to the level of these people with these vicious and hateful remarks. Afterall they`re very insignificant when you think about it in the scheme of things. Also if you notice much of if not all of the hateful remarks are from guys, so big deal. They`re probably in the age range of late teens to early 20`s and these sites give them a chance to spew their venom. No big deal. They`re not and can not hurt MJ. So let them have at it. Myself I`m a huge MJ fan who grew up with his music. He`s without a doubt the greatest entertainr ever. Hopefully he will perform at the grammys,it would definitely be the highlight of the show.
