Will Jackson's Body Be At Staples Center Memorial?
Posted on Tue Jul 7, 2009 08:15 AM PDT
Online reports are speculating that Michael Jackson's body will be brought to Staples Center for today's memorial.
According to at least one report, Jackson will "lie in state" in an open, elaborate gold casket. The body would be brought by motorcade from Forrest Lawn in the Hollywood Hills where Jackson's body has been prepared for burial and the family attended a private memorial service last night.
Do you think all that's a little over-the-top?
A motorcade from Forrest Lawn to Staples Center would disrupt traffic throughout many parts of Los Angeles, not to mention what it would cost the city in terms of police, traffic control officers, and the disruption to local businesses?
If it happens, should Jackson's estate pay the bill which some could say could top $2.5 million???
Who do you think should pick up the tab?
