X17 XCLUSIVE - Sources Tell X17, Jacko's Family Planning A Muslim Funeral

As you know, Michael Jackson reportedly converted to Islam late last year, and a source close to the family tells X17 may legendary pop singer will have a traditional Muslim burial:
- "The family is considering following the Muslim burial traditions because they believe Michael would have wanted to be laid to rest in keeping with his new-found religious beliefs. Michael's brother Jermaine is educating the family as to the special rites because he feels it's important to bury his brother according to the Muslim way."
Jackson had previously expressed interest in joining the Muslim faith years before, but it wasn't until last November that he finally pledged allegiance to the Koran and adopted the name "Mikaeel" (the name of one of Allah’s angels). His older brother Jermaine (who later took the Muslim name Muhammad Abdul-Aziz) has been a Muslim for two decades, and most of Jackson's bodyguards are part of the Nation of Islam.
For a Muslim burial, the body has to be cleaned, but ideally not embalmed, and wrapped in a white sheet, and it must be buried facing Mecca. The Koran also dictates that the body be buried as close to the place of death and as soon after death as possible. There should be no tombstone near the grave.
Though it's not yet clear exactly what funeral arrangements have been made, it appears as though Jackson may make his final appearance in a white horse drawn carriage later this week. While we're not sure if Michael put this request in writing (in his 2002 will or in a later draft), perhaps his handlers and brother Jermaine influenced this decision?

The white carriage is fantastic.
A pseudo-Muslim arrangements sound OK...but it's too late to give him a traditional Muslim funeral. He's been gone for almost a week, he more than likely has been embalmed by now, he will not be able to be buried near his place of death. However, facing him toward Mecca would be a nice touch though. I'm sure the family will be sure to make his funeral a real spectacular.....
If they were going to do a Muslim burial, they needed to bury him as soon as possible. They also performed two autopsies.
Now the Nation of Islam is trying to make him 'their guy'! They can have him! So I suppose MJ is going to get a room full of virgin boys for eternity!
I don't think this is what Michael wanted. He was so confused about so manyt things I believe religion is included...how many times has he been seen "converting" to another religion, including JW, which he is no longer. Nobody knows what he really wanted, let alone Michael himself...I think this is the influence of his brother.

to translate what "dray" said above in french, as to MJ deserves an international funeral, he was an idol for so many (many of us would agree with this). the second part (I don't agree with) he says to put his body in his ranch to be seen (uh.. ugly thought, sorry dray)

I think we can sing a song nice and meaningfull words but without duff.
just calling islam evil and quran evil makes no sense because i have read the whole quran and its totally against sins and evil, even it has strong punishments againts sins like adultary, murder etc, etc. and one more thin for peoples knowledge christainity, judaism hinduism all alow polygamy, its the later on laws that forbid polygamy. another thing is islam makes scientific mathematical and logical sense to people who read quran with open heart and do research. and another thing jehovah only means "oh he is" and in original text in bible it appaered as yahuwa elohim meaning oh he is eloh or Allah
