Michael Lohan Contacts Robert Downey Jr. To Visit Lindsay In Jail

Hmm, good or bad idea? And do you think the actor would even consider it?
Michael Lohan gave a radio interview with Nashville's 107.5 The River today to talk about, that's right, his incarcerated daughter Lindsay Lohan. And apparently he thinks RDJ and co. can help her! The father explains:
- "My people are reaching out to Robert Downey Jr. and to Mark Wahlberg. I know both of them and Mark is a tremendous human being. Hopefully they'll see her before she gets out and she'll get in this rehab and get off these prescription meds, and she'll get her life back."
Say what you will, but this is the best idea Michael's had in a while! Lindsay's problems started earlier, but RDJ is that one shining example of a struggling Hollywood talent people have continuously rooted for despite his mishaps. LiLo might actually get it together if she has a serious heart-to-heart with him! Not so sure about Mark Wahlberg though.
Could this be that one bit of hope we've all been waiting for? Is Robert Downey Jr. the one to save Lindsay Lohan?

Now Michael Lohan is going to use Lindsay to gain access to successful entertainers and those A-list celebrities. I hope Robert Downey Jr. is not that dumb to even give those gutter trash Lohans 1 second of his time.
It's not the same sitution, Linday and Robert. Robert Downey Jr. actually wanted to get help and he didn't have that entitled attitude. He just simply couldn't quit although he knew it was so wrong in his heart. Linday never wants to quit and she doesn't think she is doing the wrong thing. PLUS she has a huge entitlement issue.

Robert Downey Jr. had good performance in many critically claimed movies before he went to jail. Those are movies for adults not teen movies. The credits Linday has are just teen or kids movies.
Linday might be a better teen actress than other teenage actors and actresses back in the days when she was a teen. But she can't compete with a lot of young adult actors and actresses. She is not that talented.
No Matter What Lawyer Says, Lindsay Lohan Staying Locked Up
Lindsay Lohan isn't going anywhere fast.
Los Angeles Sheriff's Department spokesman Steve Whitmore tells E! News that reports that the actress could be getting out of slammer much earlier than thought, even possibly this week, are not true.
"Nothing has changed," Whitmore says. "When she was incarcerated I said a couple of weeks and it hasn't been a couple of weeks. That turns out to be the first part of next week. It could be Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, something like that."
And that has to be a blow to Team LiLo.
Just moments before Whitmore dashed her dreams, Lohan's off-on lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, expressed hope that jail officials might release the 24-year-old trainwreck by the end of the week due to overcrowding.

This may or may not be her bottom, but until Lindsay is ready to surrender and ask for help... No person will be powerful enough to make her quit. She is only going to get more resentful and do even more drugs because she doesn't know how to live any other way if people continue to annoy her. A person has to want to quite and want to live a sober life to have a chance at sobriety. Her dad needs to leave her alone. She hates him, and will continue to resent him for interfering with her life. No person, place, or thing is powerful enough to make someone surrender and quit. She has to want it on her own.

Robt Downey Jr. is a talented actor who had a drug problem but he had the will to pull himself out of the hole.
Lindsay never had any talent to begin with, regardless of what her family tries to sell the public.
And she certainly has no desire to change, as evidenced by her behavior right up to her incarceration.
Trying to help Lindsay is a waist of time until she goes after help herself.
Who cares what her father wants.It's not Mr. Downey's job to clean up the vegetable the Lohans raised.
Robert Downey Junior didn't have to go through his sh*t in the internet era. He was viewed quite negatively in the press many times, but he did not have to endure the daily gossip and comments from fans /haters. Most of you are probably too young to know just how low he had sunk and how most of his friends were just counting the days until they had to bury him. He also did not have enabling parents stirring the stew in the press every day. Robert Downey Junior was in so much more trouble than Lindsay, yet he was able to turn it around. Lindsay can do it too, but not until she is ready to accept that responsibility for herself. Hopefully she won't have to hit rock bottom like RDJ did. She has a lot of talent and is still so young. I hope one day we are talking about how she came out of this the way we talk about RDJ.
I am guessing that Michael Lohan "knows" these two from AA meetings. If he actually knew them as friends he wouldn't need his "people" to contact them. He is out of line to suggest that they visit her. He is saying, hey you guys are f*ck ups like me, but the kid hates my guts, why don't you go talk to her for me, as if they owe him a favor. Lindsay hates her father because he beat her mother and terrorized his children. She isn't going to listen to any of his minions, no matter how famous.
She has ZERO talent and there is very little good will for her in Hollowood.
Unlike Downey, who is indeed a talented actor and was well liked all along.
Lindsay is not responsible enough to do court ordered classes over a THREE YEAR period.
Not to mention that no one wants to deal with the trashy Lohan family any longer.
Lindsay listens to no one and does what she wants. That's the problem.
For people like her there are very special programs - they are called JAIL.

Obviously, Michael Lohan is just attempting to put more publicity on this case. Lilo doesnt even speak to him I understand its his daughter, but I think all the information he is feeding the media is wrong and he should just keep his mouth shut and do this privately.
