Mila Kunis Rips Reporter In Russian
Posted on Wed Aug 3, 2011 01:15 PM PDT
Mila Kunis came to co-star Justin Timberlake's defense at a Moscow press junket for Friends With Benefits -- and she did it in Russian!
The reporter asked why Timberlake is focusing on movies instead of music, and Kunis pounced all over her! She said:
- "Why movies? Why not? What kind of question is that? Why are you here?"
Ouch! Justin is adorable -- he's got headphones on to hear the translations, and jokes that Kunis is his "bodyguard." Watch it all in the video above!
So why does Kunis speak fluent Russian? Find out after the jump!
Kunis was born in the Ukrainian SSR and moved to the U.S. at age 7. She says she felt "blind and deaf" when she was enrolled in the second grade after moving to the States because she didn't understand or speak any English!

That was to funny. I wonder if the reporters realised she spoke Russian.
So cute and funny, love mila. JT looks lost and confused though
That's just how Russian people talk, they are pretty agressive talker!
Stil, Mila needs to learn how to behave herself! I guess she wouldn't allow herself to talk like this to an american reporter or others..People just don't have respect there.
Mila is totally out of line. The reporter asked a totally valid question. MIla's response is vulgar and disrespectful.
What a good girl, she stuck up and blind sided the unprepared reporter who didnt do homework regarding the fact that she spoke Russian. Good for her, she took control and looked out for her coworker. Luvz it
Mila is vulgar and disrespectful and I wouldn't be surprised if she was an actual drunk. She is just nasty lookin' LOL
she is a former prostitute from TJECHESLOVAKIA.
I worked with Mila on one of her first jobs in the US, an episode of Renegade. She impressed me when she was a child. She has great talent and dedication to her craft. Bravo Mila.
What is Mila, Justin's mother? People might have thought it funny, but she was rude. I didn't see anything wrong with the question and he should be ashamed that she just jumped in when the question wasn't even addressed to her. The question was legitimate. Mila wasn't.
it was question for Justin not for her to answer anyway she's a D list actress
I feel that was a falid question. What is her problem with? And I don't think anyone was surprised she spoke Russian. She obviously understood Russian since she didn't have any headphones on for the interpreter so it's not a far stretch that she can speak it. I bet she didn't let Justin speak for himself the whole press junket. Big mouth.
Ewww !!! What a snob! It wasnt an ordinary question!! I really dislike her now, looks like she was trying to show off ... The reporter didnt ask anything about Justin concentrating on the movies more then on music, she just wanted to know why he decided to be an actor...Freaking snob Milla says and why are you here, exactly the same reason why he is in movies! SHE ALSO SAID IN THE END ,"ITS THE SAME THING; MOVIES, AND MUSIC" freaking blah blah ..Eww
@the captain there is no such country as "TJECHESLOVAKIA". what the fck is that? did you ever see a map of Europe? did you EVER see a map?? there are more prostitutes in your country than in hers. fck off
She is frickin Russian you morons. Do your research before you post. Eastern Europeans tend to be very blunt with their words. What both the reporter and Mila both did is normal for that culture. She's just protecting Justin bc he's not used to it.
Eshto? bashly
It's clear that the russian talk like this with each other and Justin is not used to it, but the reporter was very normal and Justin looked like he wanted to answer the question but Mila jumped like an hyperactive b!tch around. Justin just was speechless and didn't understand what was going on. In Russia, Romania, Polen and this Countries who speak Russia all the b!tches there are like this!
I think she was rude. Just answer the quastion. Russians don't talk like this to each other, it's not the nation, it's just her nurture.

Learn to speak English so we can understand the point you're trying to make.
She spoke Ukrainian, not Russian. It is like British and American English; both are understandable, but have different aсcent, prononciation and some different words
Mila did the right thing. In that society they don't just lay down and take it. They stand up for themselves. I've been there and the people are beautiful. Good going Mila.
