Miley's Dad Billy Ray Says He's "Sad" About Video Of Daughter Smoking From Bong

After a video surfaced today of Miley Cyrus smoking something from a bong (TMZ reports that it's not marijuana, but salvia, an herb which is legal in the state of California), her father Billy Ray has spoken out on the matter.
"I had no idea. Just saw this stuff for the first time myself," Billy Ray tweeted earlier today. "I'm so sad. There is much beyond my control right now."
The video of Miley was reportedly taken on November 28 (just days after her 18th birthday), and it's believed that the footage was copied or stolen from a friend's camera. Hmm, but why was the friend recording it in the first place and urging her to smoke more? Sounds a bit shady to us...
Looks like Miley needs to get herself some new friends!
