But did she perform well? The Disney sweet-tart - who acted as a mentor to the American Idol contestants this week - is taking some hear for her singing last night. Miley performed her latest, "When I Look At You," and admittedly didn't sound her best. I think it's just the type of song? Not a good fit for her voice!

Real-life gorgeous couple Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato also hit the American Idol stage last night to belt out their duet, Make A Wave. No doubt, the tweens in the audience went nuts!
After the performance, the two young lovebirds gave each other a side hug ... and Ryan Seacrest couldn't resist by saying to the audience, "I'm telling you...good chemistry..."

I think Demi sounded fantastic! I'd never heard her before and she somewhat resembles (vocally) Christina Aguilera. I thought she sounded a lot better than Miley Cyrus which I've never seen what the fuss was about with her besides the fact that she'll do an act dancing against a pole like a stripper at a kids' award show!

so many haters here who don't know how to sing or what to do with there lives... i'm a vocal teacher and i can tell you that even though i love miley it wasn't her best performance (pitches all over the place..). But demi and joe were awesome and looked beautiful :) And i don't know why when someone say something bad about miley some of her fans have to ditch demi or joe.

MILEY SINGS FROM THE HEART IN EVERY SONG SHE SINGS! SHE IS TRULY AMAZING! SHE LOOKED ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! I was a little surprized on how Demi looked so grown up. And 7:17 yes Miley has gorgeous LEGS and I would have loved her in Mini Skirt and High Heel Boots but I thought it was a nice touch her in evening wear! Went perfect with that beautiful song! She also played the Piano flawlessly.
