Miley Cyrus Rips Rebecca Black A New One

Miley Cyrus chatted with Australia's Kyle and Jackie O Show this morning, and not only did she reveal that she may be dating someone, but the 18-year-old Disney superstar totally dissed YouTube sensation Rebecca Black!
Black's "Friday" music video hit the web this month and garnered a whopping 16 million views in one week, but the song's lyrics and overuse of auto tune made it fodder for an endless amount of jokes. "It should be harder to be an artist," Cyrus said of Black's rise to fame. "You shouldn't just be able to put a song on YouTube and go on tour." While we agree with Miley (think of it this way -- would Black ever have been picked for American Idol?), the aspiring singer is just 13 years old! What if someone said something like this about Miley's little sister Noah?
So how does a real artist set themselves apart from the rest of the wannabe musicians out there? "I don't lip-sync. I would rather someone say I sang like crap than have people see me lip-sync," Miley told the radio show. Miley is making more of an effort to keep her personal life to herself ("I do not Tweet, I do not social network, I try to stay out of it," she said), but she did reveal that she might have a new love in her life. "I don't want to cross out the Australian boys, but I may or may not be single," she said. "I'm definitely not coming to Australia single!" So who's the lucky guy?!

If she's gonna blast Rebecca...then she needs to put Justin Bieber on blast too...true originality and talent are becoming a thing of the past...sad but true..these people are "computer generated"..no real talent there...Miley on the other hand worked for her fame and fortune, so I can relate to where she's coming from...
Why shouldn't you "just be able to put a song on YouTube and go on tour", Miley? Not everyone has wealthy, famewhore parents willing and/or able to pimp them out to the entertainment industry from the day they are born. While I agree that RB's song and video is atrocious, it's not up to YOU who should be able to sell tickets or records if that's how her "fans" choose to spend THEIR money. Btw, you use the term "artist" much too loosely in reference to yourself. Maybe someone should take away your right to make videos and go on tour just because you don't meet their definition. Spoiled, arrogant little brat.

OK. I've heard Miley sing live. She can flat out sing and doesn't need to be auto-tuned. next, Miley's earned every bit of her celebrity, had to audition for Hannah Montana and beat out 1000 girls for that part. She's not famous because of her daddy at all, if that was the case Trace, Brandi, and Braison would be famous cause they are also in bands. And next thing, she just said an opinion, she didn't RIP anyone, the media is garbage to misrepresent this young woman in this way.
Her voice and the song are annoying. Sounds like a damn frog on auto tune. Also Miley Cyrus shouldn't talk cuz her voice is on the same level.

She just needs to stop talking. She only thinks of herself as a 'real' artist. She got her start at Disney, I guess that's what she considers as paying her dues. This girl is so stuck on herself it's a shame. Is there anyone or anything she hasn't bad mouth? Oh, give her time, she's still young.
I'm not sure that Miley Cyrus, who got a leg up to fame from her already famous father, gets to talk too much about people not doing it on talent alone.
