Then came the Vanity Fair scandal, followed by YouTube wars with fellow Disney tweens, flashing LiLo's peace sign 24/7 and a May-December romance with an underwear model. And now? Ms. Miley Cyrus has been nominated for a Golden Globe!
2008 was a controversial year for the 16-year-old superstar, but we think she handled herself quite well. Plus, she actually has a fun and feisty personality and we totes love that!
