After just three episodes, ABC's reboot of the 1970's favorite Charlie's Angels has been cancelled, the network confirms.

Production has been shut down, but ABC will air the remaining episodes already in the can.

Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh are back to pounding the pavement after their show debuted in September to poor ratings and even worse reviews.

The original series, starring Farrah Fawcett, Kate Jackson and Jacyln Smith, broke viewership records and the big screen adaptations staring Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Liu were big box office hits.

Can you imagine anyone telling Minka Kelly that she needs plastic surgery? Well, someone dared to!

The actress, 31, went on the Late Show with David Letterman last night to promote her new series, the Charlie's Angels remake premiering on ABC tonight. Somehow the talk turned to plastic surgery because when Minka was 19, an ex-Playboy bunny approached her with an interesting proposition. The former Friday Night Lights star told Dave:

"She was very seductive and said that she wanted to manage me and that I had a lot of potential, and she could get me this job at a doctor's office in return for plastic surgery which I would need to be a Playboy playmate. And all I needed were eight sets of lipo, fake breasts, a few veneers and all kinds of things."

Whoa!

Minka did actually work at the plastic surgeon's office for about a month before realizing she didn't want to get all that work done. "When I told her I didn't want that, she told me I would never be Playmate of the year, and I said, 'I think that's okay. I'm okay with that,'" she said during the interview (above).

Good thing Minka went with her gut -- she's gorgeous already!

The reviews are in -- and unlike the Charlie's Angels girls themselves, it's not pretty.

Angels is set to premiere on ABC tonight, the second reboot of the original 1976 TV series that starred Farrah Fawcett, Jaclyn Smith and and Kate Jackson.

This 2011 version gives us beauties Minka Kelly, Rachael Taylor and Annie Ilonzeh as the trio of butt-kicking leading ladies. While all three are gorgeous, that's apparently all there is to this remake.

Critics are panning the series across the board, calling it absurd and boring while picking apart everything from a plot that doesn't work to the terrible dialogue. One of our favorite reviews comes from the Chicago Tribune. "Angels was a hit 35 years ago because viewers obviously didn’t mind idiotic dialogue and illogical plots," critic Curt Wagner wrote. "Oh, and it also worked because so few action shows had women as leads. Things have changed since then, though."

Looks like we'll be praying that NBC can find a role for Minka again on Parenthood.

Minka Kelly and Derek Jeter have ended their relationship after three years together, their reps confirmed, on Friday.

The Charlie's Angels actress hinted at signs of trouble with the Yankees shortstop when she told GQ mag in January: "I promise you, I'm not getting married in the next month."

Jeter became the first Yankee to reach 3,000 hits last month, and Kelly was spotted in the luxury suite, cheering him on. But now that Kelly is hard at work on the Charlie's Angels revival series in Miami, distance may have played a key role in the split.

"They care about each other. They're still friends," a source close to the couple stated this week.

The Friday Night Lights star appeared in the documentary Derek Jeter 3K, which premiered on HBO last month.

After nearly 30-years off the air, Charlie's Angles is finally getting a reboot -- with even hotter ladies!

Newcomers Annie Ilonzeh and Rachael Taylor, and sexy Friday NIght Lights star Minka Kelly, will replace original Angels Kate Jackson, Farrah Fawcett and Jaclyn Smith. Veteran actor Robert Wagner is rumored to be the voice of Charlie.

The newly-revamped show is set to take place in present day Miami, and will feature the Angels as reformed criminals, who are brought together by Charlie to redeem themselves.

Former big-screen Angel Drew Barrymore is executive producing the show for ABC, which is set to premiere this Fall.

The 30-year-old actress, who is dating Derek Jeter, is revealing her thoughts on Valentine's Day. She tells the mag:

“I don’t think Valentine’s Day is necessarily about a man and a woman. When I was single, it was more about me and my girlfriends renting ‘Sex and the City’ Season Two. It’s about celebrating what you’re happy about in life.”

Men everywhere can breathe a sigh of relief. Minka Kelly will not be joining the legions of stars who got engaged this winter by taking a walk down the aisle with boyfriend Derek Jeter -- at least not yet.

Kelly, who strips down in the pages of GQ, says, "I promise you, I'm not getting married in the next month." Notice she doesn't completely rule it out in the near future, though!

The feisty The Roomate star also addresses rumors surrounding a September 2010 incident regarding her dog not being able to fly first class and the claim that she called her famous slugger boyfriend for help!

"Do people think that somewhere in my brain, I think Derek can save me from someone telling me my dog can't fly? If that's the way I worked, he would have left me a long time ago."
