There are still a lot of people who have no clue who Mischa Barton is other than she played Marissa on The OC. That role will always be her claim to fame role. She has really only had supporting roles or been in indy films. She isn't going to make much more money than she already has. Her career is over.

Agree. This isn't the first time Mischa has done this. It's just the first time she's been caught so blatantly. There have been reports of her doing drugs even during the time she was on the OC. Her sister went to rehab, ex boyfriend went to rehab. Wouldn't be suprised if she's next. Even if she doesn't want to go, she may be forced to go, or she'll jeopardize her endorsements and any future film offers.

I seem to recall in Page Six about 3-4 months ago that Mischa's little sis showed up at a Fashion Week event, where she was scheduled to model, stoned and was asked to leave.

You guys are idiots for saying her career is over. Mischa has nine films coming out which are expected to be very good. She has a lead role in a film that is directed by oscar winning director Richard Attenborough and stars opposite shirley maclaine and christopher plummer. Right. I'm sure her career is going down. Not :P Anyways, i am dissapointed in mischa. She needs to reavaluate her life and make some drastic changes. She needs to accept that this mess is her fault and she needs to face the consequences. Hopefully she can regain her composure and be the classy mischa we always knew. If she does that and explains her actions to the public she can move on and become the movie star she is expected to be.

Her movie with Hayden Christensen has been delayed for over two years. Her role in the Richard Attenborough movie is supporting, not lead, and that movie has also been getting lukewarm reviews. She only has a cameo in the St. Trinians movie. The only movie which MIGHT get positive reviews is her film with Bruce Willis, in which she plays a schoolgirl, a role she's done in a lot of her other films.

Exactly. This girl is going no where fast. She's done her movies, no big hits, therefore the "big box" movies will not be calling her name anytime soon. Take away her endorsements, make her learn from this rather than giving her some probation!

i strongly disagree! but everyone has their own opinions. And i guess i was mistaken- she has a supporting role. But why do you think jessica alba is famous? its not for her acting chops- its for her sex appeal and that's it. I believe that Mischa is more than that. Richard Attenborough who has an eye for talent says she has an extraordinary ability to convey emotion. I believe that when all of her films come out they will only lead to bigger and better roles. People think that her acting sucked on the oc, but the truth is that her character, Marissa, was a pathetic loser. Mischa wasn't really able to show the public her talents by playing the same character whom had no depth. I think we have not seen what Mischa has the ability to do just yet. Oh, and by the way I actually heard Mischa was pretty good in Closing the Ring. Plus Mischa, before this ugly incident, was all over the magazines and they named her the one to watch this year. Don't judge her just yet, wait and see.
