Mischa Barton Has A "Tough" Life

Mischa Barton did an interview with Time Out New York, and the troubled starlet insists that she's doing just fine, and the whole psych ward thing was just a "tough spot" in her life. Uh huh!
Mischa lays it out for us:
- Here’s what happened: Before the show started, I was traveling abroad for contract stuff and I went through a terrible surgery - a wisdom tooth surgery, all four removed. It was a nightmare. I’ve never had surgery before - it all went wrong and I had to have a second surgery and it almost delayed shooting because it was a nightmare to me, because I couldn’t deal with the thought of not getting there on time. So with the travel, and surgery and prep for the show - it was hell.
Is this when you were checked into Cedars?
- Yeah, I went through a tough spot where everything compounded on me, and it was like a perfect storm, like everything was happening to me at once. The show, travel and then this fairly routine surgery that went wrong - it’s still just healing. But I had to get through it without proper painkillers because I couldn’t take those during work. So it’s been a nightmare.
How did you end up in a psychiatric hospital?
- I was down in the dumps about everything there for a while. Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom about things and have to get the most stressed-out just to feel better again. I got completely stressed-out and couldn’t handle everything, and now I feel really in control.
Hmm, does anyone believe her?
Sounds like a whole lot of excuses to us!

Quit whining you spoiled brat. All 4 of my wisdom teeth were covered with bone which had to be cut away and I had to go two days without eating because I wouldn't stop bleeding.
Your life isn't any harder than anyone else's, so get your head out of your butt, grow up, and get over it!

She doesn't seem to be whining. She seems to be trying to minimize what really happened to her. It's kind of refreshing compared to someone like Lohan who thrives on playing victim and magnifies every single thing.
I actually do believe her. I had my wisdom teeth out and suffered for over a month. There is a condition called dry sockets that impedes healing and presents excrutiating pain. I couldn't tolerate the pain meds (they made me nauseous) so I suffered without relief. Being in constant pain, traveling and stressful work can make even the most sound person depressed. I don't blame her. I wish her success on her new show.

What an oh so tough life. Give me a break. She's your typical spoiled rotten starlet. She did too much blow and ended up babbling. But let's all feel sorry for her for having it sooooooo rough.
celebrities are so dramatic if thats the reason for her going to a mental hospital. the general population get on with life and suck it up when they have worse problems and are depressed.
My friend was an extra on the OC and had nothing nice to say about her. She was unpopular with the crew, would always be complaining about things, wouldn't memorize her lines, would always be asking for retakes. He saw her once arguing with the director because she didn't want to say her lines the way the director wanted it said. She would barely put her phone down when they called action.
Shes just doing damage control. I don't believe that for a second, but I will still watch her show I think.

I you have an embeded wisdom tooth...the surgeon has to break it up, cut gums and yank back-molar aside as he chips, careful not to damage the good molar.. and remove some jaw bone if the roots are mature and then the wound gets infections, face and jaw swell.. A pain that hurts like hell and you have to be knocked out not to feel that pain, just for one tooth.. imagine four?... aaaah..
