Did YOU See Harry Potter Last Night???
Posted on Wed Jul 15, 2009 12:24 PM PDT

The sixth installment of the wildly successful series opened at midnight and fans, both young and old, some in costume and some not, flocked to the theater to see Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince...
Were you one of 'em? The sure-to-be summer blockbuster has (not surprisingly) fantastic reviews and, according to Variety, pulled in the best midnight gross of all time!
Potter earned $22.2 million last night, beating out Warner's own The Dark Knight, which raked in $18 mil in midnight runs last year. Think this'll beat out Batman overall?
Guess we'll see after the weekend!

i saw it!! it was good but i nearly cried when someone im not saing who if u havent seen it)died. i loved the humor too although it was looked at as a dark film.ron:"why does dean like ginny?" harry:"i dont know, shes smart, funny, attractive ..." ron: attractive?!" harry:"uhh yeah she has great attractive skin ..." LMAO but i was annoyed at how the film had very little harry/ginny action. there relationship was a serious part of the book and i feel like the kick their relationship had in the book wasnt apart of the movie. but hey, they got everything they needed to have in their to tell the story. it cant be easy to adapt a 800 pg. book to a 2 1/2 hr. film. but i thought it was amazing overall. my fav book and my fav movie so far. im sure dh will be amazing though!!
gonna see it tomorrow! cant wait ...
sure its gonna b awesome n' entertaining.
from the trailers it lookes like one of the best harry potter movies so far
LOve harryy. I'm so excited
David Yates is not the best director, he lacks the focus of Cuaron .....but the fx are great and the story is interesting..........maybe I will go again........it was really good
Saw it on tuesday, and i really liked it. Must go see =)
Good grief! I am so over Harry Potter; I don't have the patience to wait 10 years from beginning to end to find out the OUTCOME in the movie. The first 2 were good, but after that, not so much. Everyone can be killed off and that would be ok with me.
I NEVER UNDERSTOOD THIS FASCINATION OF HARRY POTTHEAD! Wizards and shit...
Just got back from watching it. Really good, very funny, and very sad. Was worth sitting in a packed and I mean packed theatre.
Saw it last night. Hermoine dies.
Saw it last night. Hermione dies.
Someone does die! But it is not Hermoine! If you've read the books - you know who dies. If not, it will be an absolute shock! It was for us! Sad!
This movie is a work of wonder! A masterpiece! If you haven't seen it - go see it-it's well worth the cost! Enjoy!
love the movie. if you havent seen it you should go
I saw it last night. Loved it. Awesome. I got to the theatre an hour early and it was helllaaa packed. I mean damn and hour early yet we're still late?? Oh well, I am going to see it again in IMAX.
Can't wait for the Deathly Hallows to come out.

well.. if we see it from another side.. hermione does die.. i think the scene where she is crying is soo hard, i mean, i really felt it.. they did a good job with that scene.. and the way harry is there next to her as her best friend is soo cute
