Inception Beats Salt At The Box Office

Inception is probably the better movie, but I enjoyed Salt more, actually.

It is not supposed to incepiton was in imax considerably more money and more theaters . It is not leo only movie its a Nolan movie the director of Dark Knight . Salt is on Angie shoulders pretty much . Levi is respectable but not big star same go with Chiwetel .

I simply l.o.v.e.d. inception.. it's a very strong and hard plot, where you find yourself almost as if you're in a siuation where you watch them live doing what they do.. you forget that your in a movie theatre.. it's cool..

I wouldn't go see SALT if you paid me. I will go see Inception for sure.

they're both 'different' in different ways! lol... I'm amazed so many pple liked Inception - hardcore mental puzzle - I didn't expect to have to think so hard!! love Leo - other characters, not so much - Marion C and Ken W were hard to understand a few times... overall plot confusing! but unique and interesting... many pple seeing it twice for that reason!!! Salt was a wild ride too - good twists in the plot - but stunts were ridiculous - don't try this at home!!! and Angie needs to Eat something!! kept thinking we were going to hear the snap of bones any minute!!! thin is great, too thin is painful to watch!!!

Saw both, SALT IS THE SUMMER'S BLOCK BUSTER MOVIE, INCEPTION IS MORE OF A DECEMBER MOVIE, OR VIDEO STORE TYPE OF THING BECAUSE YOU HAD TO STAY SO FOCUSED, I BELIEVE THAT SOME PEOPLE WHEN BACK TO SEE INCEPTION TO REALY GET THE PLOT I STILL DON'T KNOW WHAT THE HELL THE MOVIE WAS ABOUT.

Inception is fantastic. My brother-in-law saw Salt but walked out 1/3 of the away through.

I saw Salt knowing it would be a serious action movie, but because of all the pre-critiques by the media didn't expect any story. There was a rather satisfying plot & twist and as a result, I want to see the next Salt. There were some outlandish stunts but Cruise's train-jump-explosion-tunnel, ceiling drop into a highly secured room to steal disk and Damon's Bourne chaos, to name just a very few-had equally outrageous stunts.There action movies. Jolie was as good and convincing as Damon or Cruise, even all Bond actors. Media has made this a contest: Leo beat Angelina. They are different types of movies. But JustJared's website objectively pointed out that Salt debuted much bigger than Cruise's Knight & Day, Damon's Green Zone and Crowe's Robin Hood. For a woman to break in this high octane level of action and hold her own speaks volumes and even louder than the haters.

If so he wouldn't make the first 10 minutes of Incepiton. He must be maths major. Salt is easy to understand and many twists and interesting movie. Inception is a movie you need to rent the dvd take time and figure it all out.

I thought Salt pretty much sucked.
It was hard to follow. They wasted
Angelina Jolie (she didn't look good).
And it's hard to look up to a "roll
model" who kills and kills a lot of
innocent people.

Leo's movie won because it was held in more theatres than SALT.

I am an avid movie fan. see between 2-3 movies a week. Thought INCEPTION was a total waste of film and of my time. would have walked out, but I was with other people.(they did not like the movie either)
SALT was good action movie.....plot was easy to follow. kept me entertained.

Lots of people walk out of movies and some never come back. I wouldn't see a Jolie or Pitt movie if it was free.

Seen SALT on friday, Loved it!!. Very proud to have paid for 4 tickets. Would definately watch it again.

PS Andy S above, I don't know if you noticed or not but I don;t think she actually killed any inocent people. She just knocked them unconscious I think. She did kill th bad guys though.

Wow X17 and some posters--you are missing a major point! Salt made a ton of money opening with a FEMALE star. There is no other FEMALE actress that has been able to open a movie this strong since Julia Roberts.
Whether you like Jolie or not, this is a tremendous feat in Hollywood. And hopefully will pave the way for move females in strong leading roles without the dependence of a strong male actor touted as the star.

i hate angelina. wouldn't go see it either. I personally think she sucks. On the other hand Incpeption was a great movie. You can't conmpare a great actor with a so-so actress...

There isn't much a story with Salt so you don't have to follow it. The action
scenes are about what you have already
seen with Angelina. She is getting a little too old for them and she is so
thin that she looks almost frail. Ten
years ago she probably would have came
off looking better. I was sorry I wasted
my money and wouldn't do it again.

Salt was horrible compared to INCEPTION. INCEPTION kept the audience wanting more, and kept on building, to make the plot more interesting. Salt was good for the first half, second half was a total waste of time, money, and story. Salt as a joke comparing it to Nolan's masterpiece.

I can't believe that people are saying Salt is better than inception... You must be crazy if you think Salt is good. The dream sequences in inception were probably even more realistic than salt. I like how she walks through the ship and just tosses grenades like they are flowers and just slowly walks by. And that was way realistic when she got a scratch on her side after falling from trucks on the freeway and 5 story buildings...that scratch just makes it sooooo realistic. Also, I guess it's easier to get through a 6 foot concrete wall than thin bulletproof glass. I thought not even his own men could get through that wall. Wtf? She used one of their guns. Let's also not forget the realistic fight scenes where she beats up 6 armed men at a time. They are probably the highest trained elite men in the U.S.... How does that work? This movie is only good by a 13 year old's standards and someone who can't understand the complexity and brilliance of a masterpiece like Inception. Best and worst movies of the year.
