MTV Says There Won't Be A Duet With Taylor Swift And Kanye West At The 2010 VMAs

Despite all those tweets about Kanye West having penned a song for the country cutie, it looks like there won't be any sort of collaboration at the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards. In an interview with the AP, VMAs executive producer Jesse Ignjatovic denied any speculation that there would be a performance featuring the two musicians.
West is scheduled to perform at the awards ceremony, but things will be different this year. "The beautiful thing about Kanye is he's not one to repeat himself," Ignjatovic told reporters. Swift is not confirmed to attend this year's event, but she's a nominee in the best female video category, which was the same one she won last year when Kanye rudely interrupted her acceptance speech.
