Naomi Watts almost always nails it on the red carpet, and tonight was no exception!

The 44-year-old actress wore a futuristic sequined Armani Prive gown to the 85th Annual Academy Awards on Sunday evening, and we wouldn't think to like this dress, but on her flawless frame, we're loving it!

Naomi is nominated for Best Actress for her role in The Impossible, and she's up against Jennifer Lawrence (Silver Linings Playbook), Jessica Chastain (Zero Dark Thirty), Emmanuelle Riva (Amour), and Quvenzhane Wallis (Beasts of the Southern Wild).

Watts hit the red carpet at the 70th annual Golden Globes in a smokin' hot Zac Posen gown, and she definitely turned heads when she twirled around to reveal the funky train on the back of her dress.

When she's not killing it on the red carpet or staying busy on set (she's already got two movies in the works for 2013!), Naomi Watts is spending time with her darling sons Sam and Sasha.

Naomi and hubby Liev Schreiber spent the holidays in St. Barth with their boys, and the 45-year-old actor revealed in a recent interview that he and Naomi are close with Hugh Jackman and his family, and they frequently spend time together in New York. Liev told OK! Magazine, ''Hugh and I play tennis together and talk about movies. We have a lot in common. The kids and his wife Deb and Naomi are friends too.'' Who knew?

Award season is coming soon, and to celebrate, celebs flocked to Cecconi's in L.A. for the Audi Golden Globes Kick Off cocktail party.
