Seriously, that's like the least-flattering dress Natalie Portman's ever worn in her life - and she still looks like a billion bucks!
Nat stepped out on the red carpet at Cannes last night in a white ruffled...thing. (Or are we being too harsh on her dress? After all, the red number she wore the night before set the bar awfully high!)

Well, that dress doesn't do anything to make her look ugly, but it looks like she took a bunch of tissue paper out of someone's Christmas gift-box and made some sort of Origami disaster out of it.

She looks like she just stepped out of the past from the set of Breakfast at Tiffany's. Most people here wouldn't know of such a classic or the actress who made it famous. Natalie Portman is a combination of beauty and brains. She disdains the Hollywood hype and nonsense and your criticism falls on deaf ears. Look her up on IMDB and learn something about her. She's not a drug addicted bad mother like Britney or a phony bi lush whore like Lindsay. She's an educated, talented actress who can pick and choose her roles. The dress is unique but looks lovely on her.

I like it in white although another color may have made the design cuts in it stand out a bit more against her porcelain skin. It's very fashionable and looks great on her.
