Nick and Aaron Carter's younger sister Leslie has died.

The 25-year-old singer passed away Tuesday in New York. The Carter family released the following statement:

"Our family is grieving right now and it's a private matter. We are deeply saddened for the loss of our beloved sister, daughter, and granddaughter, Leslie Carter."

Leslie was featured with her family on the 2006 reality show House of Carters.

She is survived by her husband Mike and daughter Alyssa Jane.

Nick Cannon has been in the hospital since Wednesday suffering from "mild kidney failure," and his superstar wife Mariah Carey has remained by his side.

The America's Got Talent host was in "a lot of pain" when he was admitted to the hospital, his wife says. But now, Cannon's condition seems to be improving.

Mariah Tweeted:

"Nick is in stable condition with a good prognosis, hopefully he'll be discharged within 2 days. As always he's laughing and in good spirits."

Looks like Nick is feelin' the love!

Nick Cannon is recovering from a "mild kidney failure" and his wifey, Mariah Carey, Tweeted a photo of the 31-year-old America's Got Talent host from his hospital bed.

Mariah, 41, wrote the following on her website:

"We're trying to be as festive as possible under the circumstances but please keep Nick in your thoughts because this is very painful."

Mimi added, "We're doing OK but we're stranded in Aspen. I know, we could be in a lot worse places, but the truth is as long as we're together, we're OK."

Twins Moroccan and Monroe are also on the vacation with their parents.

Mariah Carey and husband Nick Cannon posted these darling shots of Moroccan and Monroe Cannon on the babies' official website, and the proud parents couldn't help but gush about their 8-month-old twins.

Mariah and Nick wrote:

"We are so elated to finally be able to show you some pictures of the beloved additions to our family ... We deliberated for so long about how to reveal the first pictures of our babies to the world. We just didn't want to do the typical thing and display them in a tabloid (not that there's anything wrong with that :))

Mariah Carey and Justin Bieber's new music video for "All I Want For Christmas Is You" had many critics deeming the stars' interaction as inappropriate, however Mimi's hubby says he "loved it."

Nick Cannon tells Life & Style:

"It wasn't scandalous. I loved it, and I'm so proud of her."

In the holiday video, Bieber, 17, is seen ogling at Mariah, 41, who is posing in a sexy Santa costume. We'll admit, it's a bit awkward to watch, but Mariah's post-baby bod is looking fab!

As for Cannon leaving twins Moroccan and Monroe in care of Bieber, Cannon adds:

"Oh hell no [would I ever let him baby-sit]! Justin didn't meet our kids because Mariah didn't bring them to the set of the video. But I think he will eventually.”

It started out as a joke, but now Nick Cannon is facing the wrath of PETA -- and puppy lovers everywhere -- for an "inhumane" prank he pulled on New York's 92.3 NOW radio station, on Thursday.

Pretending to dog-sit for the radio show co-host's Pomeranian puppy, Cannon called into the show to let staffers know he decided to tie at least 50 balloons to the animal -- just to see how high the pup could lift off the ground.

But in no time the station was receiving an overwhelming amount of angry calls, which prompted Cannon to returned to the airwaves to let listeners know the prank had "gone seriously wrong."

Nick Tweeted after the backlash:

"I think I might be getting fired... They are saying the program director, my producer and I are getting arrested. This can't be serious! People are acting like I'm Mike Vick. I apologize. Now get over it."

The entire scheme was actually an attempt to give away free Katy Perry concert tickets by attaching them to a stuffed animal puppy and releasing it into the air, for one lucky fan to catch.

Unfortunately Cannon's little hoax did little to amuse fans, with PETA claiming the stunt went too far: "Joking about killing a dog, a kid, an old person - anyone - isn't cool when there's always the danger that some numbskull will do it for real."

Now that Barbara Walters' 20/20 interview with Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon has aired, ABC has finally released a photo of the babies' faces!

In the segment, Mariah tells Barbara: "I don’t think I understood the enormity and the magnitude of what it really does to your body. Carrying two babies. Unless somebody’s been through it, it’s difficult to understand what I went through, because my pregnancy was very unique in terms of what happened to me."

Carey was confined to long periods of bed rest; she experienced false labors and made several trips to the emergency room during her pregnancy.

When Mariah gave birth, her single "Fantasy" was playing in the delivery room as she had a C-section 35 weeks into her pregnancy.

Daddy Nick Cannon tells Walters: "My family gives me everything. Unconditional love means ... the world to me. I mean, it's completion."
