Will Nick Jonas and Pharrell Williams be joining Mariah Carey at the American Idol judging table?

The boy bander and the rapper are front runners to fill the vacant seats left behind by Steven Tyler and J.Lo, according to Us Weekly.

"Nick is pretty close to signing to be the Idol judge. They flew him in to L.A last week for final meetings," a source tells the mag. Apparently producers think that the 19-year-old will help bring a younger demo to the show.

As far as the N.E.R.D lyricist, who has produced hit records for chart toppers like Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake, he is working towards solidifying the deal but is still negotiating the terms of his contract.

Previous judges include Simon Cowell, Paula Abdul, Kara DioGuardi, Ellen Degeneres, and Ryan Seacrest.

A rep for FOX had no comment on the reports.

Joe and Nick Jonas hit up Fogo de Chao in LA. We have a feeling they left stuffed considering it's all-you-can-eat. But regardless, the two bros looked sexy as ever in their casual duds.

We couldn't help but notice that Joe is driving a brand new white Fisker Karma. Nice ride! Too bad their older bro Kevin couldn't join them.

Nick Jonas was snapped hailing a cab in New York City over the weekend, and the youngest (and cutest!) Jo Bro showed off a brand new buzz cut. We kinda miss his curly brunette locks, but then again, it does make the 19-year-old singer look a little bit older, so that could be a good thing...

And we're not the only ones drooling over Miley Cyrus' former boyfriend! Earlier in the week Nick had an awkward moment with an infatuated fan at a private party for Blair Croce, daughter of CiCi’s pizza founder Joe Croce. The New York Post reports that Nick and his brother caught the eye of a young party-goer who “was lingering around his general area, trying to get a good look at him and Joe.” Maybe she wasn't cute? Otherwise, we don't see what the big deal is, unless she was acting super creepy!

Nick Jonas and Delta Goodrem have called it quits after 10 months together.

Goodrem's rep released the following statement, "Nick and Delta have decided mutually to end their relationship."

The couple were very hush-hush about their relationship at the beginning ... claiming to be collaborating musically. However, last year, they finally stepped out as a couple.

The 27-year-old Aussie's rep added:

“At this point in time, they are both focused on their careers as they go on different paths. They remain friends and wish each other the best for the future.”

Jonas is currently performing on Broadway in the play How to Succeed in Business.

Over the weekend we spotted Nick Jonas leaving the Henri Bendel store in West Hollywood, and the youngest JoBro hid his shopping bag behind his back when he returned to his car. We're not totally sure, but we're willing to bet that he was sneaking around with some holiday goodies for his much older girlfriend, Aussie singer Delta Goodrem.

Just last month Nick went down under to pay his lady love a visit, and even though they're 8 years apart (which is a lot when you consider Nick is still technically a teenager!), it looks like they're still going strong. Hmm, wonder what he got her? With his Disney millions, we think he could afford something pretty nice!

We caught up with Nick Jonas at LAX as he was in between flights on Thursday night, and despite all the traveling, the busy singer couldn't stop smiling!

The youngest brother of the Jonas Bro band recently revealed he will be taking over the lead role in the musical, “How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying,” in January. This will be the former Disney star's fifth Broadway performance.

Nick Jonas and his woman Delta Goodrem left the ArcLight Cinemas in Hollywood hand in hand. Can these two be any cuter?

Delta, 26, and Nick, 18, have been hitting up the movies quite a bit over the last few months. Nothing like a sexy movie night to keep the romance going.

The gorgeous Australian was previously engaged to singer Brian McFadden, but called off the romance earlier this year. Seems as though she's found her love match with Mr. Jonas. We'd be smitten, too!
