BREAKING NEWS - Nicole Kidman Welcomes A Baby Girl Via Surrogate

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban welcomed a daughter courtesy of a surrogate last month. The couple released the following statement:
- "Our family is truly blessed, and just so thankful, to have been given the gift of baby Faith Margaret. No words can adequately convey the incredible gratitude that we feel for everyone who was so supportive throughout this process, in particular our gestational carrier."
The baby was born at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee on December 28, 2010, and Kidman and Urban are the biological parents. The couple have a daughter Sunday Rose, who is 2-and-a-half years old, and Kidman has two adopted children from her marriage to Tom Cruise, Isabella and Connor.

In the future, all celebrities will use gestational carriers. No celebrity home will be complete without one chained to the hot water heater.
I always wonder if the celebrity just doesn't want to gain the weight or bear the morning sickness and all that goes with it. Or is it that for some reason the can't carry one? If I could experience that nothing would stop me. No amount of money. Congrats to them and both babies though!
You know what you do for a living has no bearing whatsoever on this topic. Those of us that are not celebrities have no idea how intrusive and just plain rude the media and others can be. If this couple were your neighbors would you ask these rude questtions? No, not if you had any class and manners were stressed in your home. The only thing that matters is that they prayed for a child, are balanced and doting parents, and have a lovely new baby. Just say something positive or learn to censor yourself. There is enough negativity in the world without trying to tear down a a happiliy married couple who will adore thier baby.
I do not think that vanity has anything at all to do with this choice. Unless you have had a miscarriage you have no idea how devastating the experience can be. This baby was wanted, hoped and prayed for. Add to that the challenges of being in your forties and fertility and this seems a logical choice. Also, it seems like Nicole has been so much more down to earth and honest and open since being with Keith. They seem relaxed and happy and appreciative. Be generous and live and let live.
