I'm happy for her. Now she can have a child that won't be brainwashed into Scientology. Tom also brainwashed Isabelle and Connor to dislike their Mom so much so that they call Katie "Mom". So I hope Nicole is pregnant and she can finally enjoy motherhood minus the brainwashing.

Yes she is pregnant. I've seen about many sites such as (BillionaireCupid.com) about this and I'm just wondering, is anyone else tired of hearing about her? I know I am! She's just a person, like you and me, so what. She got pregnant. Millions of people get pregnant a year. No offense, but who cares? I really don't like Jamie Spears so hearing all these questions about her is getting annoying.

I agree with SoirDeCalme, when her adopted kids were younger, Isabella was 10 years old when Nicole won her Oscar, she was making 2-3 movies per year. She was on that cycle for years before she won the Oscar and after. This means she was not really with Isabella and Connor. I don't think she really wanted to have kids in her 20's or 30's. She was devoted to her image and career. I do believe that her career is just about over. Her last movies have flopped at the box office. I'm not counting the animation one. The same goes with Julia Roberts. However, I don't feel sorry for any of them. They have made millions of dollars, have comfortable homes, have been awarded the top prize, and Academy Award for Best Actress (not supporting), and are both married and healthy. They don't have to work another day in their life if they don't want. And so Nicole clearly had her priorities in order and having a child was not on top of her list and that is fine too. People should have kids when they are good and ready because it is a lifelong commitment. That saying that kids are your responsiblity until they are 18 is not true. For the rest of your life you will think and worry for your child. Its not for everyone.

40 is getting up there in age for having babies !
I had my 2 babies when I was in my 20's.
They are both teenagers now and I am 40.
Unless she is a healthy 40 year old with no medical problems then she might be able to give birth with no problems.

Good for her..after the deliberate comment from Katie Holmes that was designed to hurt Nicole, I am thrilled that this woman is having a child. I really hope this kid grows up in a mentally healthy environment and we will see the contrast where loving parents raise a child opposed to a marriage that was designed to produce cult members. If Katie lasts 10 years with Tom I would be shocked but I do like Nicole and Keith. I will say that I wasn't a Kidman fan in the past but she has presented herself as a lady. She has been honest about the hurts she has with the 2 adopted kids and she has given of herself to help underprivileged families. I hope everything goes well for these two as I think they are a nice couple who have their problems but try and work thru them..

I have two boys that are 22 and 23..I was in my early 20's when I had them. I now have a 5 year old and I will be 47 on my next birthday. My little boy was a miracle in many ways. One I had my tubes tied (stapled) and secondly I was in a very abusive relationship. After I got pregnant, this little guy still survived abuse while in me and he is here today alive, healthy, happy and has changed the lives of my entire family as he is the joy of all our lives..as for the abuser, well I got a restraining order and No Contact..anyway, my point is..40 is not to old to have a child and I think Nicole wasn't allowed to have much say over those 2 adopted kids and now she has one that she can raise without a group of scientologists watching her every move.

Leave Nicole and Keith alone. They are happy and married for God's sake. If they want to have a baby what the hell? I really hope she is pregnant. They deserve to be happy. Keith is an amazing talent and so is Nicole. I wish them both well!

Where would anyone get the idea that Nicole Kidman's career is over? She is one of the higherst paid and sought-after actresses in Holllywood. Like Johnny Depp, she has chosen many non-mainstream roles simply for the challenge, knowing that they would not appeal to the masses, but would showcase her immense talent. Congrats to her on her pregnancy, and to her husband, who seems quite normal to me.

I have not seen any celebrity chande in appearance as much as Nicole. In her first movies when she was in her twenties she was chubby, red hair and a lot of freckles. She has changed her look substancially from that point and also say she was always skinny, which is a bunch of BS.

Don't know why posters think she didn't want children earlier? She lost 2 babies with Tom and always said they wanted to have children. He also tried with his first wife, Mimi, and they were never successful. It has always been rumored that Tom had some type of problem in that area and when Nicole was finally pregnant, he divorced her. Of course, she lost that baby. In interviews after her marriage to Keith, she has talked about how badly she wanted to try again. This woman really wants a baby but it just didn't happen with the cruiser. Hope it works out for her this time.
