Nicole Says Motherhood Motivates Her

United Nations Goodwill Ambassador Nicole Kidman spoke yesterday at UN headquarters in New York, saying being a mother motivates her to fight violence against women.

A seven months' pregnant Kidman launched a web site petition yesterday as part of the "Say No to Violence Against Women" campaign.

“I’m a mother, I have a child on the way, I have two children in the world and a lot of (my motivation) is about realizing the things that are wrong and how can I contribute,” she said during the press conference.

Beautiful? I don't think so anymore. She uses too much botox. But I find this story a bit weird. Didn't her bodyguard just beat up a couple of the paparazzi that got in her way? Violence is violence. You can't pick and choose which situtation to support.

Her face has definately been tweeked, especially if you compare to pics years back. She is very scary looking now. I saw the movie "To Die For" on HBO the other day and she was absolutey beautiful in that movie which is about eight years old, what did she due to screw herself up so much?

pundit i agree too.....i think she looked gorgeous and hot in moulin rouge especially back in 2001. she's still beautiful to me and i love her. she's one of my fave actresses

However...i've never, EVER seen a pic where she seems PREGNANT!!

I'm so sick and tired of celebrities who use their charity work to really promote themselves and their careers. It's not about highlighting ANY particular cause. It's about keeping their names out their because their careers are going down the toliet. LOL!

i feel bad for her losing her kids to scientology. there really isn't anything she can do except pray and hope that they return to her at some point in their adult lives. stop accusing her of giving her kids up as if she's a bad mother - none of you know the pain she must experience losing her children to tom's psycho "religion."

And she allowing her kids to stay in that "evil" Scientology. She doesn't even own a home to be close to her kids. Those stories about a Brentwood house were false. She's been too concerned about her career to be a decent mother.

Kathryn, I totally agree. By sitting back and saying nothing about that awful attack, she may as well be condoning it. She's a hypocrite of the worst kind.
