Vegan diets are definitely not for advanced pregnancy women, at this time the body needs an inordinate amount of proper nutritive food material for a truly successful pregnancy. Without proper nutrition it could be touch and go, for a normal healthy baby. The baby is growing fast in the womb, needs all the help it can get, and a lettuce and bird seed diet is potentially very dangerous. Surely, Nicole is very intelligent and would not endanger her baby! At this time, appearances be damned, the baby comes first!!!

They've done everything right since she got pregnant and seem very happy. I wish the celeb sites would stop continuing to link her with Paris and Britney. She's obviously cleaned up her act, and it looks like LiLo has too. Just Brit and Paris left of the "bad girls" now. She looks terrific and I wish them all the best with the baby and their charity.

There are plenty of celebs that get pregnant (by accident, just like she did)and GO RIGHT BACK to the way they were before. So all the fans needs to stop hatin on those who won't readily give her the benefit of the doubt until she proves herself more. It's easy for her to gain some sympathy just because of the pregnany itself but its ONLY sympathy. The real test is if she can stay on the right path AFTER the kid is born. I'm a dietician, and a vegan diet is completely healthy and safe for anyone, including pregnant women. Vegans do not subsist on "lettuce and bird seed" someone above wrote - there are many healthy protein choices for vegans. Grow up people!

I hate all you people who hate on Joel Madden. I think he is adorable and very sweet. I've met him a couple of times and he was great both times. A really cool guy. I also met Nicole and she seems very nice. You can't believe all the shit you read in the tabloids. I'm excited for the birth of their baby. I think they are going to be wonderful parents. I think she looks good and seems to have been enjoying a healthy pregnancy. I'm a huge Good Charlotte fan and have been for years. Joel wouldn't have gone out with a woman who wasn't a good person.
