Report: ABC To Offer Sheridan A "Peace Package"

ABC is reportedly planning on offering former Desperate Housewives star Nicollette Sheridan a "peace package" to entice her to drop her $20 million suit against the show's creator, Marc Cherry.
Nicollette is suing Cherry for assault and battery, gender violence and wrongful termination stemming from an incident in 2008, in which Sheridan claims Cherry, "took her aside and forcefully hit her with his hand across her face and head."
“Our legal team is working to get both sides together to see if they can help broker a compromise," a network source tells the Express. "This doesn’t mean that anyone is going to hand Nicollette $20 million to drop her action and walk away but there are various incentives that might be put on the table.”
However, if the case does make it to court, attorneys for both sides say they will subpoena the cast and crew.
Could make for more drama than an episode of the hit show!

Ive been saying all along, Marc Cherry cannot hide the mean, angry, aggressive and miserable person that he is. EVERYONE in Hollyweird knows what he is like. If ABC is smart, they will pay Nic to stfu. Marc cannot get the entire state of Cali to keep their mouth shut in terms of his attitude and behavior. It was bound to come out.
Puleeeze! She is obviously only after money. Nothing was ever said until her character was killed off. If I was Marc Cherry, I would be 'bitch-slapping' her too.

U don't know if this suit or negotiations was going on behind the scenes.... besides innocent people don't "come up with a compromise". It's probably a known fact that Mr. Cherry is an animal.
She is lying and shouldn't get a cent. They shouldn't settle with this bitter old ex-employee.

Nicollette is telling the truth. The guy is a major jerk. The rest of the housewives are trying to remain neutral so they won't lose their jobs.
