But is it just us, or did Gwen Stefani TOTALLY pick out bandmate Adrian Young's outfit? It looks like something straight off the L.A.M.B. runway!
No Doubt hit the red carpet at the 2012 American Music Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night, and while they're not nominated for any awards this year, the group are set to take the stage later this evening. Push and Shove just came out in late September, so even though they missed the mark for the AMAs, we're guessing they've got their eyes on Grammy gold. Those nominations will be announced on December 5.
Can't wait for their back-to-back shows at the Gibson Amphitheater in LA, which kick off next week. Will you be going?
No Doubt paid a visit to The Ellen Degeneres Show to talk about their latest album Push & Shove, their first new effort in over a decade, and frontwoman Gwen Stefani revealed how different the recording process was with their children coming into the mix.
It was challenging. We would get together like three times a week and I tried all versions, where I would be like oh, today I’m going to bring them with me. And that didn’t work. And then I’d go okay, today I’m not going to see them and then I’ll work all day and then I’ll be with them tomorrow. It was just chaos trying to figure it all out. Which is one of the reasons it took as long as it did. Because I have to do that and I want to do that. But Zuma is here today and he’s okay, right? He’s chill.
The spotlight then shifted to young Zuma, who showed that musical talent may run in the family when a clip depicted the 4-year-old jamming along with the band during their soundcheck earlier. The clip encouraged Ellen to ask about her kid's musical prowess, where Gwen didn't hesitate to reply with the cutest confession.
"Zuma is the one who is showing more interest in the guitar," the 42-year-old singer said. "But since he was tiny he always played the guitar. I mean he doesn’t really play the guitar but he thinks he does."
