Octomom Regrets "Selfish" Choice To Have So Many Children

After over a year of defending her choice to be inseminated via IVF as a single, unemployed woman, Nadya Suleman has finally admitted that her choice to have so many children was "childish," "immature" and "selfish."
"Do I regret [it]? You can't regret children. But the choices were childish. They were immature. They were selfish," she told Oprah Winfrey.
"I feel as though I wasn't thinking at that time. If I could go back, would I make different choices? Maybe. At this point, I know and I need to teach my children that we need to learn, we need to grow, we need to keep on growing and transcending, and we need to make the best possible choices," the mom-of-14 reflected. "And when we make poor choices, all you can do is really, really learn from that and grow from that. Try not to repeat it."
Nadya also said despite previous claims she'd be open to more children that she was definitely done. "At this point in my life, that is the furthest thing that I would ever even imagine," she said.
As for Nadya ever revealing the identity of her babies' daddy, she says, "It is not my place, and that would be completely disrespectful of me. He and I may have unresolved issues, but what does that have to do with exploiting him? I respect his life. I'm loyal to him. That is not even something I would even fathom to do."
As hard as it is to survive as a single parent with 14 children, Nadya said that they are no longer on food stamps, and support themselves with media appearances. But Oprah was quick to point out, "I want you all to know we did not pay Nadya a dime for this interview, neither have we ever paid in 25 years. I don't believe in that."
Oprah says she decided to do the interview after receiving a letter from Nadya, in which Nadya says "she wants the world to see her for who she really is."
The interview airs today.

you know what i don't understand all the hate you ppl have for women with a lot of children being in the public. yes she's crazy for having that many kids with no money and yes kate gosslin is in the public eye a lot. but guess waht the media is disgusting now adays and will pay for everything. i would rather these women with huge families to take care of make money off of this meaningless garbage rather than porn star mistresses. and tons of celebrities have huge families and no one goes around bashing them for being irresponsible. get a clue. jsut because these people don't have a talent doesn't mean it's wrong they are taking advantage of something for the benefit of their children.
kate gosslin has a terrible ex husband and knwos how to wrok the system to get the most out of it. you may hate her but she is securing the future of her family financially by puttign herself out there. also most of the beauty thigns you seen done to her weren't PAID FOR BY HER!!!! if you ever watched their show from the beginning you would know she is driven by her family and has not changed her persona at all.

Well I realize interviews like these are usually carefully preplanned and scripted I have to agree that I like her (well tolerate) much better than Kate G. She's a few cards missing from the deck but at least it seems she's not trying sell that she's mother of the year and just trying to survive...like poor Kate G. who BTW gets paid about $200 thousand per EPISODE of DWTS, plus residual income from books, and many thousands for other appearances and pics. Nadya would probably be FAR more entertaining on DWTS!!
The doctor should be held for malpractice. he knew that she could not pay for these babies hospital bill but he inseminated her without regard to society. I think that any profit that she makes from her appearances should repay the social system for her medical bill.
She made not have been 'paid' in cash for the Oprah appearance but she and her people (yes she has advisers/handlers) are not stupid and know how valuable an Oprah interview is for an image and future income from other paying projects. Hmmmm...maybe she's smarter than she looks.
No Kate G's persona has not changed...she still comes across as fake, controlling, entitled and full of herself as always. She can put on a good act when she needs to and has to.

The eight sitting at the table seemed like they were well behaved for the most part. All of them are super cute. I feel sorry for her eldest son and daughter. They must get tortured at school with the teasing about their family.
