America's New Golden Girl Celebrates Her Win

Despite suffering an injured shin before the Olympics, Lindsey Vonn (perhaps our new fav Linds!) kicked some serious butt on the slopes in Vancouver yesterday, becoming the first American woman to win a gold medal in the downhill.
Oh yeah, and anyone who was giving her flack for her "controversial" Sports Illustrated cover last week can pretty much shut up now!
Not only is she a hottie, but she's the fastest girl on skis!

i honestly don't see what was THAT controversial about the cover. ok so they exaggerated the skiers stance slightly to give it a little more arse, but really not all that much. she's in her ski gear, on a mountain. not ina bikini on a beach! (save that for the swimsuit edition)
