Oprah Winfrey and 50 Cent End Six-Year Feud

Jun 14, 2012 12:00 PM

Oprah Winfrey and 50 Cent have called a truce over their six-year feud!

The talk show queen sat down with the ganster rapper for an interview on OWN's Oprah's Next Chapter to settle their differences, and among the issues were 50 Cent's criticism of Oprah's audience demographic, and Oprah's disagreement over his use of the N-word in songs.

The sit down, which took place at Cent's grandparents home in Queens, N.Y, came as a surprise to the Get Rich Or Die Tryin' star, and it seemed he couldn't be happier about putting the beef to rest. "This is a huge milestone to me -- just being in your presence and on the show," he said. "That's a huge accomplishment."

Cent, whose real name is Curtis Jackson, didn't let the truce happen before he spoke his mind on how it started in the first place. "I would see moments when you would discuss your feelings on the culture and everything that was wrong with the culture was what was on my CD, and I was like, 'Oh, she doesn't like me'," Jackson said. "I was saying, 'If I can't be your friend, at least let me be your enemy, so I co-exist."

Oprah fired back, "That's interesting. I don't spend a lot of time looking at people who don't like me, but I did hear that you said something like I had white women in my audience that were as old as your grandmother. I felt that that was a pointed criticism," she explained.

In the end, the two agreed to disagree and put the bad blood behind them. Leave it up to O to handle things like a pro!

X17 EXCLUSIVE - Oprah Winfrey Will NOT Conduct First Post-Divorce Interview With Demi Moore

Apr 23, 2012 11:05 AM

DMooreOld_011510_01_X17.JPGDespite reports that Oprah Winfrey scored the first post-divorce interview with Demi Moore, a source tells X17online exclusively that's NOT true.

On Friday several websites claimed the talk show legend was going to chat with the 49-year-old actress for the first time about rehab and her failed marriage to Ashton Kutcher, and this came on the heels of reports that Winfrey has been serving as a "life coach" for Moore.

Moore made her first public appearance last week at the launch of Lifetime's The Conversation with Amanda De Cadenet, and a few days before that she broke her three-month silence on Twitter.

Moore seems ready to move on with her life, but it also appears as though she's taking her time when it comes to stepping back into the spotlight.

Is Lady Gaga ready to become a soccer mom?

The Paparazzi singer sat down with Oprah Winfrey this week for an episode of Oprah's Next Chapter, and it just might be her most revealing interview yet!

Not only does the eccentric singer hope to tie the knot in the future, she also wants a "soccer team" full of kids.

The Lady, who donned an ultra-conservative red dress suit and minimal makeup, tells Oprah on the idea of children: "Yeah, yeah, I do. I mean I'm being superfluous [about the soccer team], but I don't want to have one [child], I want a few. I want to experience that." Gaga added that she hopes to get married some day, but "not yet."

The "Poker Face" singer also confessed that she's taking a vow of silence after her interview airs this Sunday. "Other than this interview, Oprah, I do not intend to speak to anyone for a very long time. No press, no television, if my mom calls and says, 'Did you hear about,' I shut it all off." Say it ain't so!

Whitney's Daughter Bobbi Kristina Opens Up To Oprah

It's been a month since Whitney Houston passed away and in her daughter Bobbie Kristina's first interview since the tragedy, she tells Oprah Winfrey, "I'm doing as good as I possibly can at this point. I'm just trying to keep going."

In the sit-down with Houston's and Bobby Brown's daughter, the 19-year old goes on to tell Winfrey:

"I can sing her music, but to hear it now, I can't. I can hear her voice telling me, 'Keep moving, baby. I got you.' She's always with me. I can always feel her with me. She used to always say, 'Do you need me?' And I said, 'I always need you.'"

What Kristina didn't know was that there were many others in the world who needed her mother too:

"I just saw her as mom. The first time I saw her as a worldwide icon was when we went on tour. And the funeral. . . She made an impact not only on a few people. She made an impact on the world."

Bobbi Kristina says she wants to do the same -- that she'll "... do the singing thing -- some acting, some dancing."

And she still feels comfort in what she believes to be the presence of her mother in the Atlanta brownstone they shared together:

"I feel her pass through me all the time. I wake up at night. She would say at 5 a.m. the saints start praying. I wake up now and look at the clock and it's 5 o'clock. I start praying."

Oprah To Interview Whitney Houston's Daughter Bobbi Kristina

Mar 3, 2012 12:30 PM

oprahintvbobbi.jpg

Oprah Winfrey has snagged the interview everyone must have been vying for ... Sorry Matt Lauer! Sorry Kelly Ripa! ... The Queen of Daytime will sit down with Whitney Houston's 18-year-old daughter Bobbi Kristina for a March 11 chat on Oprah's Next Chapter on her network OWN.

The one-hour special will also include interviews with the late singer's sister-in-law/manager Patricia Houston and her brother, Gary Houston.

There has been much speculation about Bobbi Kristina's health since her mother's passing, particularly after she was hospitalized twice in the days following Houston's February 11 death. Then, Bobbi Kristina went missing in the hours after her mother's funeral but was later said, by a family member, to have been spending time alone to collect her thoughts.

Various reports claim the teen is haunted by the same addictions that led to Whitney's declining health -- some reports have even asserted that Houston did drugs with her daughter at times.

We bet Oprah will ask ALL the questions we all want to hear the answers to ... we'll tune in March 11th!

For a mere $15,000/month, you too can live like Oprah!

The Talk Show Queen has just listed her $6 million 4607 square foot 3 bed/3.5 bath co-op in The Windy City for lease, and while she's never actually lived there, it's still grand enough for Miss O to consider.

The Benjamin Marshall Beaux-Arts style luxury home is definitely worth the $15K a month price tag -- it includes a library, living room, a master bedroom with 10ft ceilings, an inner foyer, a grand foyer, a formal dining room, a solarium, a butler's pantry, a wine room, a gourmet custom kitchen, a walk in closet, city views, a laundry room, an office and a two car garage.

Mega-mogul Winfrey purchased the swanky pad in the upscale Streeterville neighborhood circa 2006 for $5,600,000, but she never moved in. O decided to list the property last June for $6,000,000, but it failed to sell.

Oprah also owns lavish properties in Montecito, Califo., Lavallette, New Jersey, Chicago, an estate on Fisher Island, a ski house in Telluride, Colorado, and property on the island of Maui, Hawaii.

oprahrosie460cover.jpg

Oprah Winfrey is hoping Rosie O'Donnell will be a good fit for OWN TV. Both Lady O and the former View co-host are gracing the upcoming issue of O Magazine.

These two women certainly have their own sense of style and a great sense of humor!

Rosie, who will begin her own talk show on Oprah's network, opens up about moving her family from New York to Chicago. She tells the mag:

"Sometimes you go outside and get beat up by New York. The city accosts you. But being in the middle of Chicago, it's peaceful."

As for the fame that goes along with the job, Rosie adds:

"There are some things I'll never get back -- like the normality of life pre-fame. I've had to come to terms with the fact that fame is like a tattoo -- it doesn't go away."

Good luck, Rosie!
