Oprah In Talks To Move Her Show To Her Very OWN Network
Posted on Fri Nov 6, 2009 11:33 AM PDT

When you're Oprah Winfrey, you can do anything you want!
Oprah may move her syndicated talk show to her cable network OWN, according to DeadlineHollywoodDaily and The Wrap, a change which might have her production out of Hollywood, where OWN is based.
Though Oprah hasn't made a decision yet, she will be making an announcement before the end of the year, according to her rep.
Katz Media Group analyst and vice president Bill Carroll says, "It would be a sea change, in that ‘Oprah' has been the most significant program in afternoon television for the past two decades. It has impacted the local newscasts in most markets, and, so, what you're looking at is if ‘Oprah' goes away, it's not clear who or what will fill that void."
Interesting!

Good. Hope she goes to cable so they can show something "good" on CBS.
I am so disappointed in Oprah for having Palin on her show that I haven't been able to watch her show since I heard. If she ever has Octo-mom on, I'll burn that channel from the remote.
She's so done. Forget Sarah Palin, she's lost her adoring minions. Good riddance.
Agreed. She's done. Any woman who would watch her after her election shenanigans, amongst other issues, should have her head examined.
Election Shenanigans!!?? America needs to thank their lucky stars that Palin is not in office right now. It was so close to happening. Remember?? We were so close to the edge. If Oprah made a difference to where we are now, better off than then, a little closer past the good line, I thank her.
Hello? Does anyone even watch Oprah anymore? She hasn't had any credibility for sometime and now shes getting her own network???WTF? Something doesn't add up.
@3;07. No one was talking about Palin. Is Palin all you can think about? Bizarre. Remember a certain candidate called Hillary Clinton? Moreover, it was never "close, to the edge" with Palin, such hysteria? And whether it was or not, Oprah Winfrey should not be deciding elections. She is paying a price for it.
