Oprah Winfrey Donated $40 Million To Charity Last Year

O-mazing! It's no wonder Oprah Winfrey is listed as the most charitable celeb on The Giving Back Fund's annual report!
Winfrey donated $40 million in 2009 (mostly through the Oprah Winfrey Foundation), and Marc Pollick, president of philanthropic group said, "There are many generous celebrities, but when you can top a list of celebrity philanthropists three out of four years, as Oprah has, that is saying something.
Novelist Nora Roberts came in second with her $4.45 million donation to the Nora Roberts Foundation, and Meryl Streep was next on the list with her $4 million donation to the Silver Mountain Foundation for the Arts.
