Orlando Is No "Damsel In Distress"

He might be a pretty boy, but if you've seen Pirates of the Caribbean, you know he can handle himself like a man! Orlando Bloom was leaving Il Sole on Sunset last night with a girlfriend when the cops rolled up to offer their assistance to the star! Orlando seemed quite amused that the police had arrived on the scene and were threatening to ticket the photogs for standing in the street. The photogs moved to the sidewalk while Orlando got into his friend's car and sped off.
Which foreign import do you think is hotter? Orlando Bloom or Rodrigo Santoro? It's a tough call...

Hope we see pictures of orlando and his girlfriend penelope soon because after they were kissing, touching, and groping each other at princes party, it is obvious they are a couple. E news was wrong and extra was right when they said they were a couple. Hope their reps admit it soon so then we will see pictures of them together. they are both my favorite actors. all those people who thought they wern't dating were wrong. Maybe it will be announced soon that orlando and penelope are engaged and that she may be expecting because she wants kids. She might do the same thing salma hayek did. He's building an environmental friendly house in London and he's spending a lot of time in la. Maybe looking at purchasing a house in la to be close to penelope or maybe they will move in together. I hope they are a couple and they are both great actors.

Love his new haircut. He looks better without that bun and he looks young and doesn't look 30. His clothes are awesome and he's got a great sense of fashion. Can't wait for the pirates 3 movie because we will see more of him at the premiers.
The kind of behavior Orlando shows to the photogs should be emulated by some celebrities who hit back at some photogs while taking a snapshot at them. On the other hand these photogs should at least give some respect and privacy to these celebrities who also needs their own privacy as each of us would. Orlando calmness and positive atitude on these situation deserves an applause.
Orlando is very cool and composed even if he is always hounded by the papparazzi. These people shld give celebrities their own privacy and just take their pics on celebrity events.
Also some celebs should emulate the behavior Orlando has shown on these photogs. He is really amazing!
If Orlando Bloom, or any other celebrity actor, wants his privacy and wants to be left alone by photographers, then he might get a clue and try going to places in L.A. that are NOT celebrity hangouts. Celebrity hangouts inevitably become paparazzi hangouts. That's just common sense and logic. I think he, as with other actors, sometimes wants and NEEDS to have his picture taken. It's called PUBLICITY, and since he doesn't have any work lined up, this is probaby better than nothing. He also probably enjoys mingling with fellow celebs; it's a stroke to the ego. I like the actor, but I also think he 'plays the game' along with so many others. Sure, he gets caught sometimes by paparazzi, and on some of those occasions it was not planned on, agreed to or set up by him. At other times, though, I think he's been a willing participant. If you want to be left alone by the paparazzi, don't go into what might be deemed THEIR TERRITORY, such as IL Sole, The Ivy, Robertson Blvd., etc. He should know better by now. If he doesn't like what's happening, then he needs to do what Elija Wood, Johnny Depp, Jodie Foster and Viggo Mortesen do. If they can get their privacy, Orlando can get his!
Orlando is hot. I agree with kim that he and penelope should come out as a couple already because after what had happened at princes party, obvious they are together and have been sighted by a lot of people. Know they are both private people, but every now and then it would be nice for a photo. Leave him alone photograghers because that is harassment.

sunshine you are all talking about "oh they need their privacy" and i agree with that. But then you are all'oh i wonder when they will say they are together" you need to make up your mind!
It´s now almost end of July and still no news on Orlando and Penelope being a couple. Makes you wonder don´t it? I´d start to feel like a dumbass if I would have been assuming they were a couple. Orlando is now in London doing a play at a theater and looks like he´s in London alone working and being with friends and family.
My advice is, wait til you get cold hard facts about celebreties and til then, take everything you read with a grain of salt and don´t grind the shit the papers and mags give you.
Thank God that Orlando doesn´t surf the internet and sees all the crap that is written about him.
