Give me millions of dollars every year and you can have all the candid photos of me that you want. If these celebs don't want to be photographed, then go to Alaska or Iowa. The film is also conveniently edited not to show what led up to him stopping in the middle of the road and confronting the pap. As for the "hit", you must be joking. Most paparazzi get their photos by following around celebrities. These are the same photos that you so called "fans" are hunting down on the internet. Orlando hardly moved his vehicle before getting out and speaking to the paparazzi. He was at Tiffany's on 210 N Rodeo Dr in Beverly Hills buying something (he's carrying a blue Tiffany's bag with some sort of box in it). When Orlando loses his cool and is speaking to the paparazzi (and slaps the pap on the arm), Orlando is standing in front of St. John's Knits which is 9536 Wilshire Blvd in Beverly Hills. It's less than a block away and like 0.03 miles apart (do a mapquest of the addresses). Seems like Orlando just got annoyed when the pap started to pull out his vehicle to follow him. Orlando immediately lost his cool and stopped his car in the middle of the street. Seems kind of nuts on Orlando's part. He needs to take lessons from Paris Hilton on how to deal with paparazzi better.

I don't think that anyone is complaining about the pics, even Orlando. What people are complaining about is the paps blocking him in, and then following him. I'm sure that Orlando knew what the silver car was doing, and decided to nip it in the bud. He was polite about it, IMHO.

9:30 am, at what point did Orlando "lose his cool?" You must be watching a different video than the rest of us, because all I saw was him calmly telling the pap to stop following him, because he got his shots. He was a bit tense, but hardly going nuclear on the guy. Plus, given the pap's clever video editing and holding the video camera at an angle where we only see a small part of Orlando's shirt, we're never going to know what led up to Orlando confronting him and what really went down during that confrontation, now are we?

Anyway, celebrities exist because of the paparazzi and vice versa. When a celeb goes to some Hollywood hotspot or shops in Beverly Hills, they're going to get photographed. Period. Sometimes the celeb or their publicist will even call the press and may even accept a cut of whatever the photo sells for. And we the viewing public are going to seek out those photos if it's a celebrity that interests us. Up to that point, it's perfectly innocent and acceptable. Up until that point, I see no reason why the paps and celebs can't have a good professional relationship with each other, considering they are basically keeping each other in business.

But some paps go too far. It's not enough to just get the shot. They follow these celebs everywhere even when they know that person won't be doing anything interesting enough to warrant such attention. They shout vile things at the celebrity in order to get a money shot. I've heard stories of paps trying to run a celeb's car off the road to get them to pull over and even knocking over children to get to a celebrity.

If there's any "hypocrisy" going on, I'd say it's on the part of paps who step out of line then yammer that they're "just doing their jobs," and on the part of the people who defend that kind of behavior.

If Orlando had hit him, as the pap suggested, wouldn't the camera have moved? He probably tapped his window or the side of his car in frustration as he turned to leave. I understand that you need something to distract yourself but honey, focusing so badly on Orlando and/or Penelope won't do the trick. Sooner or later they will do something that doesn't work with this world you built up inside. Perhaps they are together. Perhaps they aren't. There was only one sighting that said they were kissing and groping - the one of NY Daily News and that was copied from every blog. Another article said Orlando was going hot and heavy on some blonde chick. And USA Today PLUS your own quoted STAR Magazine said that Orlando and Penelope kept their distance at Global Green. See, there will pop up different versions of their behavour all the time. Might be that they only hugged and he kissed her cheek because Orlando does that with EVERYBODY. Honestly, kim - try to believe what you SEE, not what some mag is trying to tell you. And I see Penelope and Orlando denying being in any relationship. They spent too much time apart to be more than good friends, love. And even IF they are a couple - with them spending most of the time apart and meeting up once or twice a month AND Orlando flirting and making out with different chicks every time he's out (because this is what your gossip mags say also) their relationship won't last long enough for having babies and all.
Honey, try to get off the "I hope she's pregnant and getting married to Orlando" routine because this will most likely not happen. Try to think "Whatever they are - I hope they are happy with the way their life is right now" and simply enjoy seeing them. It's a lot more healthier for you, really.
