Anyone who's ever seen Owen Wilson's solar-powered mansion knows he's all about the environment - but PageSix.com says the troubled actor goes green in other ways, too!
Apparently, the Wedding Crashers star was spotted yesterday at the Green House Smoke Shop in Venice Beach buying a "small monkey pipe" for $25.
Unfortunately, someone had to be a buzzkill and snap pictures of the actor making the purchase!
According to the report, Owen flew out of the store in search of the photographer, but gave up after a few minutes - to duck behind a nearby FedEx van!
Hmm...sounds like something was decreasing Owen's motivation...but what?
Owen, of course, had a minor brush with sober living last year - we just hope everything's still okay!

Big deal. He's on the marijuana maintenance program... If I wasn't drug tested at work, I'd do it to instead of seeing a shrink twice a month and paying for scripts that have a ton of side effects. At least he's not trying to kill himself or found tied off pulseless in some dump somewhere. He's a good writer and a decent actor.

An hard-drug addict with severe clinical depression can't do pot casually. And is pot going REALLY to keep a heroin addict satisfied for very long? He's headed down a slippery slope here. Owen - get into a good treatment program and get CLEAN, STAY clean and stay alive! I'M PRAYING FOR YOU, BABY!!
"Marijuana maintenance" is bullshit. It helps with the physical symptoms of opiate withdrawal but it also masks the reasons of why you're using in the first place. You feel pretty normal for about the first six months, then the urge for the hard stuff comes ROARING back and because you didn't deal with any of the real issues you have that cause you to use in the first place, you're fucked. This is all from direct experience. I picked up again after only smoking pot for a while and almost overdosed. I could only get clean by finally surrendering myself and attending NA meetings where other people had the same experience with "marijuana maintenance." (TOTALLY clean - almost two months now)
