Bourget Brothers in Santa Monica are responsible for the death of the founding editor of Shape Magazine, Christine MacIntyre.
Actually, the county of Los Angeles was found partially responsible for the truck accident the above anonymous poster is referring to. The grade in the road (Kanan Dune Road) in Malibu was so steep that at least 25 trucks had lost their breaks in the past, including Bourget Bros. There is now a run-off lane to help prevent future tragedies. The next time someone makes a post like that, they should have the decency to clarify the circumstances: traffic accident approximately 16 years ago. It was accidental and Bourget Bros. did not set out to purposefully harm anyone. If my memory serves me correctly, the case was settled for an undisclosed amount.
Owen Wilson has given our family so many entertaining moments with his films and his writing.
I hope he knows that many Americans are praying for him.
