In looking at the video of this on the X-17 video site, it doesn't appear that they are at all together. It looks like he's with a big fat guy (body guard?) and another kind of odd guy. She's just hanging around walking back and forth while they are in the water and then seems to disappear. As always, Owen provides some very strange video to watch and be entertained by!

I haven't seen any arrests for dui's on his part, unlike Lindsay, so until then what are we actually calling him out on? Attempting suicide? That might be technically illegal, but its a tragedy more than anything else whenever it happens.

He may have substance abuse issues(he probably does but none of us know for sure), but IMO that's a personal issue for him and his family. As is the case with Lindsay & all the others, provided their behaviour doesn't endanger others.

I don't know what Owen is doing in terms of getting high, but he's too "filled in" for it to be heroin and he's not paunchy enough to be abusing alcohol in a big, big way. I believe that his problem is too much pot (and that can be assumed because of his near-constant hanging out with Woody Harrelson), but mainly some mental problems that haven't yet been fully addressed. I see him as just drifting along without any anchor in his life. Too bad he messed it up with Kate because I thought see was the one to really help him. Oh well.

Owen didn't mess up with Kate, Kate couldn't give up her girlfriends, so she hooked up with the notoriously gay in the closet Lance so they could beard and merkin for each other. Lance got sick of her using him for publicity, much as Owen was sick of it. Now she's back with Chris, who is perfectly happy to accomodate her, her women, and the press attention she craves. She'll be fine. And so will Owen.

Ben Stiller went on record talking about Owen's depression. He wouldn't lie. It was depression, not drugs. Get your facts straight before you libel someone on the internet.
