Celebrity Street Style - Paris vs. Molly: Who Wore It Better?

We thought the dress Paris wore to her in-store appearance in Miami Thursday looked familiar - Molly Sims wore it to the Movies Rock event last weekend!
Paris stuck with the silvery/grey tones in the dress, accessorizing with a silver cross pendant and silver pumps, while Molly chose to offset her gown with gold.
Who wore it better?
That dress is gorgeous on both girls! Can anyone id it?

Fairly ugly dress. There can be no winner in this situation, but I will say that the girl on the right, Sims, has a hairstyle more compatible with the monstrosity.
Hilton stands like that because someone at finishing school or charm school or whatever they call it these days told her it created a more flattering silhouette. She is, perhaps, overzealous in her execution of this principle.
Paris looks hot, but Molly is a volcano. I hate when girls call each other fat but Paris looks a little poofy.

I can tell you this much, the lighting, dark background, and her pose definitely helps Paris to stand out in her picture. Look at the mid section of the dress, Paris' appears white while Molly's appear tan. that's where lighting is a factor. If they both stood in the same room with the same dark background, I think Molly's contrasting colors would outshine paris' simple look and that's why I give Molly the slight edge.
It's a challenging dress, but Molly can carry it off, and she looks elegant in it. On Paris, the whole look is bland.

The dress itself is definitely designed to accentuate the face of the wearer, its shape creates the look of a pedestal, with the head the main focus. We have seen so much of Paris and that shoulder-back pose, her lantern jaw jutting out at us, that she elicits very little reaction from us. Molly, on the other hand is seldom seen, and thus elicits our awareness more, so Molly has the edge and that is quite something when you are being compared to Paris!
