She could have went 14 days before it became a real concern and even then there would be other "options" before release would be considered. No regular con or citizen would EVER get this treatment. There should be a public inquiry into this and heads roll as a result. Her release should be revoked immediately. Its a joke. Prison is all about behavior modification and all this did was reinforce her "above the law status". All are supposed to be equal before the law. Poor baby didn't like the food. Too bad. We all can't take our 5 star chef into the inside. 8 days in and the food regular people eat would seem fine enough to her....she would have ate it. Ms. Hilton was given many chances to lessen her punishment by following some very simple rules. Don’t drive for 36 months and enroll into an alcohol education program by Feb. 12. She had not enrolled, as of April 17 and she was also stopped two separate times for driving on probation. On January 15, two weeks after her sentence was given, she was pulled over and had to sign a document stating that she could not drive. She was then pulled over Feb. 27th and charged with violating her probation. It seems to me that she had many chances to make this incident go away easily. I don’t think that it is right for a girl who can hire as many drivers as she wants to chauffeur her around town to still flaunt her driving in the courts face. What she did was wrong and she deserves to go to jail for her crime. People all over the country have to deal with the consequences of their actions why should she be any different.
