Yes, according to a report in the New York Daily News, the hotel heiress' much-publicized trip to visit schools and health clinics in Rwanda has been called off due to "restructuring at the Playing for Good Foundation" (the charity organizing Paris' philanthropic expedition). Paris, however, was savvy enough to find another use for her frequent-flier miles - she ended up in Tokyo helping judge a beauty contest! Hopefully she's staying vigilant, though - those beauty contestants may not be as vicious as the Hutu or the Tutsi, but some of those girls are fierce!
Hopefully Paris eventually makes it to Rwanda - as much as the haters might not want to admit it, Paris' presence would definitely cast some light on a very serious situation.
