Paris Is Loving Life At The Top

If we were as gorgeous and successful as Paris Hilton, we'd be wearing a smiley face on our shirt, too!
The 30-year-old heiress, holding an adorable Tinker Bell bag, was all smiles as she left Vieve Nail Bar in Beverly Hills. No doubt, the blonde beauty deserves a little pampering!
Ms. Hilton's merchandising empire has now expanded with the creation of Paris Hilton brand stores in 31 countries. She recently told Variety that when it comes to her products, she thinks "head-to-toe" ... from concept to production. Such a success!

Paris's clothing line has grossed more than $1.3 billion worldwide since 2005. Retouch Brands' Michael Friis, who distributes Paris' handbags and accessories, tells Variety:
- "No other celebrity brand today sells in as many markets around the world as Paris Hilton. The Paris Hilton brand has known only one direction: forward."

Paris Hilton seems to be having trouble dealing with reality.
The hotel heiress recently sat down with Good Morning America’s Dan Harris, and when pressed by the ABC correspondent about her latest flub, The World According to Paris, and what the show’s failure says about her relevance in today’s TV landscape of guidettes, bachelorettes, and Kardashians, Hilton walked out of the interview, rushing to her publicist.
After what was described by Harris as a “heated conversation,” Hilton rebounded from the awkward exchange with a prepared remark:
I’ve been in this business for 15 years now so it’s been a very long time, and just like any other business person or someone in the industry, it’s always important to reinvent yourself and come up with new projects.

But the problem for Paris and the producers of her show is that she failed to do just that - reinvent herself.
In the days and weeks leading up to Oxygen’s lackluster premiere of The World According to Paris, viewers were promised that the series would finally reveal the “real” Paris Hilton; a side that she often hid behind the façade of a scantily clad, spoiled socialite who did nothing but spew catch phrases for the sake of higher ratings and more media attention.
As it turns out, the real Paris Hilton is ultimately just starved for attention, and still willing to compromise her dignity to fulfill her incessant need to be in the spotlight. Hilton, however, claims that there’s only one thing that compels her - money independence.
“I like to be able to do whatever I want, to buy whatever I want and to not have to ask for permission from my parents like I’ve seen from some of my other friends,” Hilton tells Harris. “They’re adults, but they live like children.”
Would those friends she’s referring to include Kim Kardashian, the entrepreneur with the multi-million dollar empire and most popular member of reality TV’s royal family? Or perhaps she’s talking about former confidante and Simple Life co-star, Nicole Richie, who’s transformed herself into a successful wife and mother with a number of prosperous business ventures?
I guess that’s what happens when you search for BFFs on reality shows.
Slapping your name on substandard goods for a price does not make her genius, you can find her products in the bargain bins of stores worldwide.
