Narcissists NEVER find happiness. They live in a totally self-centric world of me,me,me. Nothing matters to them but having their momentary whims gratified. Reality to them is not about giving, it is about taking. If they ever do give it is only to enhance their ability to take. Their personality composition is very close to a socio/psychopath. Profoundly and disgustingly selfish. The big difference is the fundamental drive of a narcissist is gaining attention, while the psychopath is exacting revenge, for some imagined insult to their ego. A "Malignant Narcissist" is a cross of the two. All of these are totally egomaniacal. The dumber ones trip themselves up because they are so delusional as to believe they have everyone fooled, and that no consequences will come to them. For the rich ones, they are easier able to weasel out of consequences by paying off the right people. There are many classic examples of this that really has caused our justice system to become perverted so that those with the money escape consequences, and those without go to jail. The reason being that many judges themselves are narcissistic if not psychopathic. (about 8% of the overall population presents one of these disorders, with the greatest numbers found in politics, entertainment, and financial sectors, and as heads of large corporations. Thus their obsession for power, to better able to implement their revenge, or look at me agendas.) They generally form bonds with others of their own disorder, as to them life is just a big "monopoly" game to be won by taking as much as you can, by hook or crook. That in stark contrast to well adjusted people that actually have a functioning conscientiousness, and operate under principles of compassion, fairness, and sharing, instead of greediness, self worship,and abusing others AND THEMSELF.

If this guy really did loose his job, then the parent corporation made a sound decision, as his intimate association with certain people may be seen to reflect back negatively upon the corporation as a whole. Unless of course the corporation wishes to be seen as catering to illegal interests. Any wise corporate head knows to "discharge" any of those with "lack of good judgement", as soon as identified, as to leave such individuals in place, ALWAYS leads to harm to the bottom line, either in the form of direct losses by frivolous expenditures, lawsuits, and scandals, which drive away the larger marketbase. If one has not developed sound judgement by their mid 30's, they likely never will as they too defer to their own whims over employer interests. So to see this guy "washed out", is actually pretty standard in the corporate world, as people rise to higher levels and then expose their faults that prevent them to be wise managers, or executives.

Actually I feel pretty good. my conscience is clear. I fall asleep quickly. Not always looking over my shoulder for "who's out to get me" or lamely proclaiming "I was set-up". Have a few true friends as opposed to needing hordes of sleazos out of desperation.
