One of our favorite celebrity dads (here's some others), Patrick Dempsey, took some time off from shooting Grey's to take his daughter to her horseback riding lessons in Brentwood. Sigh. Too bad his wife's in the picture...literally!

I have a difficult time believing Patrick is thinking of Ellen P. (Didn't know anyone could read other people's minds). However, I think, from other photos I've seen, that Jillian is like: nag, nag, nag, yak, yak, yak. Maybe Patrick just tunes out and that's why he looks the way he does, in his own world.
Or, it may not be that way at all. Maybe Patrick is just more interested in his kid that Jillian is. Lots of parents put their kids first, not the relationship.
While I won't bet they'll break up this year, I think within five years they'll be apart.
How would you feel if the people who are suppose to be your fans are wishing that you and your husband/wife would break up? They are just trying to live their life in a fishbowl. I know if I were hounded by photographers I would not look happy either especially if I was the one who was not as famous. To me this picture says that Patrick is just trying to support his family and wishes that photographers would not ruin it and his fans would not wish bad things for him. Hopefully they will prove everyone wrong and stay together and end up in Maine like Patrick wants.

If you look at pictures with Patrick and Jill 99.9% of the time she does'nt look happy even before he became famous again. But if you look at pictures of Patrick and Ellen there is no denying something special and majical between them.
