Patrick Dempsey DisEnchanted With Writer's Strike

Do we detect a note of bitterness in Patrick Dempsey's answers about how the writer's strike is affecting his work?
Catching up with him at a gas station while pumping gas into his $125,000 Porsche, Patrick suggested that the parties involved "get their egos out of the way". Is that so the star of Golden Globe nominated Grey's Anatomy and Enchanted would be able to attend the ceremony with a clean conscience?
If the writers don't resolve their dispute soon, it could mean that actors would go on strike next - which is a disheartening thought for everyone!
Need I mention "Celebrity Apprentice" again?

I'm glad he's talking...it IS the writer's EGO's that's messing everything up. It's not like they'd be making a whole hell of a lot more money. Since there aren't writers for Awards shows I think the actors should boycott and just NOT go since the strike is affecting them and their work also...writers won't do the shows or their jobs why should the actors. I'd love to see them strike opposite the writers guild saying they won't work till the writers get over it. THAT would probably get things fixed in a hurry...think about it...nobody to appear on ellen or Carson Daley....All movies stop shooting and what tv shows still working all stop shooting....turn hollywood OFF that's what will fix this writers strike
