Yes, it's (sadly) true - Ghost star Patrick Swayze has cancer.

His physician, Dr. George Fisher, says in a statement that "Patrick has a very limited amount of disease and he appears to be responding well to treatment thus far."

And of the reports claiming the actor may only have weeks to live? "Absolutely untrue," says Fisher. "We are considerably more optimistic."
