As I said HOURS AGO on TMZ, I pray that it is true that it was caught early and Patrick makes it or at least has more time than it seems. I love the guy's acting. Ghost, The Outsiders, Roadhouse, Dirty Dancing etc.

SO glad to hear that the doctors are optimistic. This guy seems like such a cool dude. And I love his dancing/acting. Really hope he makes it.

I belong to a grief group for loved ones of cancer victims. Of all the people with loved ones stricken with pancreatic cancer.. not one of those loved ones survived more than 3 months. Even with treatment, they went through hell the whole time.
I think of Michael Landon; announced his in April and died July 1.

Sadly, pancreatic cancer is almost always fatal. I hope Patrick beats it, but the odds are not in his favor.

No matter what spin they put on this story, with pancreatic cancer Patrick had better set his affairs in order - he is on his way out.

In a few years there will be transplants of pancreas too but we're not at that stage yet.

He is a cuttie. I saw his profile on millionaire&celeb dating site "WealthyRomance.com"
last week. Is he single now? Just curious.

You have to be optimistic with pancreated cancer because that is all you have left. That disease is a killer and I agree with the above poster who stated that people diagnosed with this disease don't live over 6 months, none that I have hear of in any case.

Patrick is such a talented man in so many ways. He is an outstanding dancer, movie star, a wonderful husband and father amoung so many different things. I am sure he will be with us for many years to come. Hang in there Patrick!! My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

It is true; most pancreatic caner is fatal. I have been in the medical field for 15 years and have yet to see someone live through it.

My cousin was diagnosed in July and passed away in December. It is a fast killer. However, If Patrick has fullfilled his contract with God, then it is his time to go home and we should be happy for him. We grieve because we have been left behind. Earth is the real Hell and he will be with God. Be happy for him and supportive of those left behind.

I just want to say i am praying for you and I know that god will guide you and be with you every step of the way. I have always loved you and said to everyone if I could meet my favorite actor it would be PatricK SWAYZE. I will continue to pray for you cuz only God knows what he needs from you. Patrick..my brother had pancreatic cancer as well..he was also good looking an charasmatic..the angels swirl around you Patrick..and if it is meant that you are to go, Gabriel himself will come for you and you will soar on his wings..I think youre a wonderful actor and that you show such strength..God Bless you..My prayers are with you, your wife and your family..

Patrick, no one came close in comparison to you. You were one of a kind. You had it all. You were charming and charismatic and you could dance like no one else. I am sorry for your pain and suffering. I have also suffered with cancer and I know how difficult it was for you. I know you rest in a better place. You will be missed by a great many people.
