Kara DioGuardi "Shocked" That Paula's Not Returning To Idol, Never Wanted To "Replace Her"

Kara DioGuardi was on Ryan Seacrest's KIIS FM show this morning to say that she's still stunned Paula quit the show in an apparent salary dispute.
"I can't get over it. I'm completely shocked," she told Ryan. "It's such a loss for the show, such a loss for the contestants. She's definitely the heart of the panel. The kind of heart she treated the contestants with she treated me with last year," DioGuardi went on to say. "She was so kind to me and made me feel immediately like part of the panel."
But Paula had no problem speaking out about the fact that she felt Idol didn't need a fourth judge, even though she and DioGuardi were old friends.
Kara says she hasn't talked to Paula since the announcement was made, but "I've left her a lot of messages."
Victoria Beckham (whose currently at the Denver auditions) and Katy Perry have already been tapped for guest judging spots on the show, but Fox is already searching for someone to permanently replace Paula.

Maybe she should have thought of that before she signed the contract. It was clearly the only reason they brought her in.
The wheels have been in motion on ousting Paula for a long time now. The rest of the cast supporting her are simply shedding crocodile tears.

The writing's on the wall that this show is over. Especially if they think V. Beckham is a good replacement.
Those people clearly don't get the dynamic that made an otherwise lame show work.
Paula and Simon are the show. Chemistry can't be duplicated. In retrospect they'll regret this dumb sexist decision.
Not only should they pay Paula what she's asking, but they should def pay her MORE than Ryan Seacrest. Those producers shot themselves in the foot blinded by sexism. Ha ha, this nosedive will be fun to watch.

People adore Paula Abdul too much, they probably sniff her chair after every show, does she smell like a diva?? LOL.
sheesh, I don't want to bash Kara (even though I don't think she's an effective judge), but she's no Paula.
Paula is "one of a kind" that is irreplaceable! Honestly, I think I'm done with AI. The voting scandal (Adam/Kris) was upsetting and dishonest on the part of AI/AT&T. And now the execs are showing their SEXIST side by underpaying women. It's just not very ethical on their part and fans needs to send a clear message! Most of my friends are boycotting.
Paula isn't one of a kind, there are plenty like her on the street, they just don't charge as much..LOL..
