Naughty Or Nice: Ellen Replaces Paula On American Idol!

This is a tough call!
So, we all know what happened - Paula Abdul's contract for American Idol wasn't renewed due to salary disputes... but it seems like the creators were actually angling for Ellen DeGeneres to replace her the whole time!
And on the one hand, everybody loves Ellen, the former stand-up turned talk show host. She might not have a musical background, but she certainly is sweet!
But what about poor Paula? She's half the reason people like watching the show! Who's gonna act all gushy slash spaced out now???
So, naughty or nice?

Stupid, I like Ellen but she has her show. Idol should have kept Paula on. Simon is leaving soon, I guess, so this show's run, as good as it was, looks to be over.

I won't be watching Idol this season because of that.
Not because I don't like Ellen, because I do, but the way that they treated Paula was BS and disgraceful.

They lost me when they brought in Ellen, which btw has never been funny.
Stupid move. Ellen is nice, but doens't know squat about music. I'm betting she'll embarrass herself a lot by not picking up on poor performances that Randy and Simon can spot easily.
