Paula, Purple and Pooches

Paula Abdul didn't want her picture taken Friday when we spotted her out with her adorable chihuahua, but the pampered pooch sure didn't mind being in the spotlight!
The X Factor judge took her two dogs to a pet clinic ... we hope it was just a standard check-up!
Abdul recently revealed she was nervous on the first day of shooting the upcoming talent show with her former American Idol co-star Simon Cowell. She called her relationship with Cowell "demented" but said being back together with him "feels like home."
X Factor premieres September 21.
