Paula doesnt need Idol. She has 1.5 million followers on Twitter, she has gained almost a million since leaving Idol! Her popularity has nothing to do with idol. if it was, Randy Jackson would get as much attention as Paula and well... he has like 3000 followers on twitter. They are in different leagues. Also official Idol has less than 20 000 followers. paula doesnt need Idol. SHE WILL GET NEW TV SHOWS, IN FACT SHE ALREADY GOT AN OFFER FROM FOX OTHER REALITY SHOW, SYTYCD. Idol most likely needed her more.

I'm sure way before AI starts she already has something lined up. She says she's going to announce soon what she's up too and I feel that would be something huge. Paula will be more than fine. She will definitely be forgotten.

i hope the thing shes announcing will be X factor USA, however, i think that show is still some time away. Besides, i think its Simons thing to announce that show, since its his show and shes probably "just" gonna be a judge. And she said we will see her on TV SOON. So I assume what shes announcing soon is gonna be something else but I cant wait for X factor USA. im not even gonna comment about the provaking comment about being "forgotten". Her fan base is huge, her fans are gonna Demand she will stay in the public eye. We are Not gonna allow her to "disappear". Paula is famous for being Paula. (her personality!) american idol was just a platform. She will find new ones, and she will stay famous. Unlike in the 80s, shes now famous mainly for her personality and thats gonna last. Whereas if u are mainly knows for good looks, u will fade. Paula is very pretty but her looks arent the reason shes famous this time.

if kare doguardi and Paula abdul are at the same event, 100 % of reporters will go talk to paula over Kara (if they had to chose one). Even though kara is still on Idol unlike Paula. I think that says it all. Paula doesnt need Idol. Shes a star with or without it. Kara isnt a star even With it.

paulas fans are more obsessed with her now than when she was on idol (on twitter i mean) haha. if anything nobody seems to care about idol anymore, the hype over season 9 died when she quit. while there was still a chance she may return, idol got countless publicity. but when that chance died, so did the publicity.

Paula....forgotten....get real. Even Simon called her t.v. gold. She will be on X-Factor when it comes to the States, and Paula is shortly to announce something big. No, she will not be forgotten, her fan base is too large for that to happen.
